After seeing the pairings, watching the group dance and then doing some research on how well the celebs have been received I predict the following.
15. Melvin & Janette - Don`t think he is popular enough to get past 1st round, which will be a shame
14. Ed & Katya - Think he may get past week 1 but not sure he has the power of say Jon Seargent to gain the sympathy / entertainment vote
13. Daisy & Aljaž - Models don`t tend to do so well and unless she is a stand out I think she will struggle, even with Aljiaz (I really want her to stay longer but fear she won`t have the support)
12. Judge Rinder & Oksana - Sadly I think he won`t be great, I think his banter with the judges may get him a few weeks
11. Naga & Pasha - Sadly Naga for me came across quite reserved and I think she will struggle
10. Lesley & Anton - Now this one is either here or 6th/5th as I think she is a bit of a dark horse, I think she may have some dancing ability
9. Anastacia & Brendan sadly here but with her fee being donated to charity she may get the public behind her so end higher, but looking at the pack as a whole this is where I see her leaving
8. Tameka & Gorka - she will run out of steam ( not sure why)
7. Ore & Joanne Ore is a good dancer already and not sure the public will get behind him re popularity and Joanne is very much Martmite to people
6. Louise & Kevin - The same applies to Louise as to Leslie, I think she could be 10th / 9th or 6th - 5th , I don`t think she is a ringer, she judged on SYTYCD but doing some research her dance credentials are no better than Danny`s or Wills - stage school experience
5. Laura & Giovanni - With the final 5 I think Laura maybe the weakest and so this is my reason for her 5th Place unless the public don`t want a 3 man 1 woman final / judges don`t and scoring gets influenced
4. Greg & Natalie - Greg will either be a Ewen Thomas or a Louis Smith, he will be good or rubbish, I am thinking good so will end in final but miss the glitter ball
3. Danny & Oti - He appears to have moves and is the eye candy a good place to be
2. Will & Karen - I think Will will be great, I fear for his latin, but think Karen will get the best out of him and make him shine, but sady I think Karens popularity will lose out on the Glitter ball
1. Claudia & AJ - Pocket rockets ! Claudia has stamina , and flexibility and will be able to pull off some amazing routines that the GBP will adore !
I may have to revise all this in 2 weeks when SCD kicks off

It depends, if her first dance is as brilliant as Abbey's was, it'll give her momentum. If she's middle to lower end of the pack, I can't see her public support out-pulling other "duffers", especially since Lesley will get through at least the first vote or two with the Anton factor! Naga is the same but I think Naga might have one good dance in her to get her past Daisy in a dance off/public vote!

Unless Daisy has been fooling us and turns out to be Abbey 2.0, Tameka should definitely outlast her on dancing abilities and personality. Naga is a bit more difficult to judge, though I am certain that the judges would save Daisy over her (dancing ability aside).
That said, Aljaz has always made it past Halloween week, which should be week 7 this year (after 5 eliminations). So, that is a good track record.
Still, it seems like a very male year, so the female celebs could leave at any point (and will be interesting how they pair up to eachother). Almost certain that there will be only three female celebs left at Blackpool (last year we had 6 out of 8!).

I can't believe you have put Will Young as 12th, his fanbase will at least get him to the middle and if he is very good that he will get to the final and hopefully win!
Poor Melvin, no-one seems to be routing for him. I actually think he will be quite a good mover.
Surprised that everyone is putting Louise so highly considering on other threads they think she will have an early exit! I personally like Louise, hope she overcomes her nerves and performs well.

I really like Melvin and would love him to go far but I think he could end up in a dance off with someone like Laura and the judges would sacrifice him. I like Janette, but I don't think she will be able to improve his technique enough to get him high judges scores and keep him out of the danger zone.
I can't see Louise having an early exit - she seems just the type to appeal to voters and I think Kevin will be able to get the best out of her (although I'm not often a fan of his routines the judges usually are).
