No wonder people are angry, it's gives him a unfair advantage and puts the others in a bad light of being boring! I'm sick of it!”

Well, that's it. It's too easy to label those who aren't enjoying the bear show 'haters'. I don't hate him, I hate the edit.

But he gave them a fantastic opportunity to cross promote EOTB and, according to what I've read here about ratings, it's worked so I can't see them returning to a better edit - a BB edit - any time soon.

Tbh I don't really care. I certainly wouldn't dream of giving them money by voting after they produced this nonsense. I'm happy to dip in and out but BB doesn't really do it for me these days. I'm cured!

Huh. Speak for yourself. I'm watching it ironically.

Absolutely. Uck, I wouldn't pay heed to Chloe. She's all too happy to go along with the Bear promotion. She's looking to cash in on it. Sam won't be backwards in coming forwards.

I'm with you that I would have loved to have seen the others and this Bear edit is pretty pathetic but I can't bring myself to care. It's business with them. They wanted to cross promote EOTB and they did. I suppose there would be a small element of satisfaction by not giving them their way with the Bear win but Tbh I don't think they would care that much - they've already created a buzz for Bear and their MTV show.

Bear is an excellent Hm but definitely a loose cannon too. but he is being himself and is very honest and blunt. The rest especially Rikki and the Americans.are are so fake. Their game is so obvious.katie never found her feet in there and should've been out long ago.”

I cannot stand Bear or Sam but I do understand why people might like Bear as a HM however to suggest that he is honest makes me wonder if you actually know or understand him at all. He doesn't have an honest bone in his body. He is sly and manipulative and sneaky and takes game playing to a new seedy and nasty level. My assumption as to why people might like Bear was because of his game playing but the idea of liking him because he is honest is shocking tbh

They've all got on very well overall, it'd have been fun to see Frankie being Frankie, the girls have mostly had a laugh together - it's such a shame they wasted a lot of money on people they weren't even prepared to give equal time to.”

Completely agree. I gave the HL show a miss more often than I watched and preferred LF and watching clips here. Imo, unless you enjoy those types of scripted reality shows like GS or EOTB the HLS were a waste of time.

Well, it certainly didn't hold my interest with me giving up after 10 mins usually. Or my usual stunt of flicking to another channel on the ad break and then completely forgetting to turn back over.

There is no such thing as an accident, there is a cause and effect for everything.

Well in this case the cause was an accident and the effect was a sore eye.

The producers are protecting Bear because of the cross promotion of Ex on the Beach. They want him to win and the contact lense incident won't be shown. Look forward to more stories that have been covered up about Bear after HM's have pocketed their fee and start talking to the press freely.

I agree, I'm past getting angry these days, the show is not worth the emotion anymore!

My daughter in law says she is amused by Bear, (not sure why) but as a person she doesn't like him and doesn't want him to win! Maybe that sums him up for a lot of people!

Yes, you are right, this is what my daughter in law basically said, she likes the game playing but not him as a person. Some people seem to find him amusing but I find him tedious and boring! So it's horses for courses it seems!

Yes she did. Katie would be asked a question and fox would pipe up with something. She did it repeatedly. The rule is double evictees sit there quiet until it's their turn.

Did you not hear the bit where Emma tried to ask a question and fox butted in yet again and Emma commented on how she would need an hour with sam because she keeps on talking? Our sam, always me me me.

Yes, she did, quite a few times. James kept silent when Lewis was being interviewed and waited his turn.

And vice versa. Those who like him seem certain that Sam is 'exaggerating' her version of events. Without having seen it, who can say? Katie backed up Sam's version of events anyway.

As opposed to lovely, cuddly Bear I suppose? How she kept her cool in that madhouse I do not know - except that, as she said, she's had to deal with hundreds like him in her time.

Being nasty = honest
Not being nasty = fake

Your world must be horrible.

I don't consider winding people up to get a reaction as being a characteristic of honesty, but that's me.

Any housemate playing to a character to give the producers what they want isn't my definition of an excellent housemate. It's fake, dull and been done a hundred times. Every celebrity big brother is the same story with different 'celebrities' acting them out. Being done with sincerity is the only time that kind of stuff is interesting.
