Just watched the clip and it makes me so sad to see how crap it is now compared to then and so many fantastic characters gone. EE is a shadow of it's former self

I watched those videos the other day.

The brawl in the Vic in 2012 is hilariously bad. So bad it's funny.

I forgot some of them like Pat hitting Stacey and Bianca v Ronnie.

Bush Push!
Janine v Stacey was brilliant though, loved the R&R fight at the time.
Roxy was funny in the fight scene with Kat: 'Come on then have a go you fat lipped trout'

It was a great feud because Janine was a manipulative evil cow and Stacey was gobby and brash (like Kat really but less tarty) and them two coming to blows over Ryan was brilliant to watch.

When was the last time the Square saw a good scrap? There hasn't been one for a while I don't think.

To me, this was Kirkwood's only shining moment and then it all went downhill after Christmas 2010.

It was noticeably more violent as soon as Kirkwood took over. The Stacey vs Janine fight in the Square was one of the most gratuitous and nasty moments I can remember. Watching two grown women fight it out while everyone cheered was horrible. Also, the all-female brawl in the R&R was disgusting. Kirkwood turned all of the women into screaming harpies.

Well said Bass. I don't mind violence in the sense of a storyline like trevor and little mo which was a stark and sadly all too real portrayal of abusive relationships but gratuitous stuff like Stacey/Janine is awful.

That fight with Chyred was an excuse to get them literally on top of one another. It was pure cringe

I don't remember Dot spanking Dottie. How hilarious

Becca throwing Bradley's ashes was hilarious. But that whole showdown was a let down to get Becca out of the way once Kirkwood took over. It's a shame as Becca setting Bradley up with the cops leading to his death and then Becca becoming obsessed with Stacey and Lily looked like a start of a great and dark plot.

Kat smacking alfie after telling her he has brought the vic had me roaring with laughter when it aired and it still does now.#

The stacey and janine fight is one of my soap favs.

Billy accidentally hitting a copper. Haha

Got to agree with others, so many fantastic characters gone in just a few years.

Janine is fantastic, one of my all time favourite EastEnders characters.

Janine is one of my favourite EE characters ever. I loved Christmas 2013 when most of the episode was centred around her and David Wicks and her exit in 2014 was amazing too and so i character.

Definitely one of the best soap exits of recent years. Was recently at the champagne bar at St Pancras and thought of Janine

Ever since about 2005, EastEnders has really struggled with longetivity and holding on to 'long termers'. It's got a lot worse since 2010 however. You not really have the Beale's, Mitchell's and Dot these days, and everyone else is kind of secondary/newer characters. Sad, but quite inevitable after 31 years.
