Remember during early C4 days the warning used to be just "Strong Language", or if it was very controversial it would just be "Strong Language and Nudity", that's it. And IMO the likes of BB5-6 were way more controversial to what we are seeing now.”

It's bizarre. Real life shows us far more dangerous acts being committed on a daily basis (crossing the road for example) yet water in the eye is considered death defying

i hope you know that.

We could even go on to say Sam was an idiot to believe that Bear wasn't going to play a prank. Most people know what he's like. Very gullible.”

OK...someone you've worked with for a few weeks then someone old enough to be your mother, definitely not a friend.

He's a pussy cat compared to them lol remember how he was in DR when he opened the door to Security guy Sam IMO would probably not had even mentioned the eye situation if she hadn't been evicted sour grapes come to mind or Sour Sam as I saw her referred as on another post

The Americans missed a trick when he threw oil everywhere. They should have slipped on it and then sued him and BB

For me the warnings seem more like a marketing strategy to titilate the interest of those in society who love to be shocked and offended and yet despite their prudishness still keep watching .
I agree i see nothing very contraversial in BB these days.

The Mafia thug threatened violence again on last night's live feed.

Painful and dangerous. Would you do it to someone?”

As a contact lens wearer a Grandchild's elbow in the eye is painful, believe me I know but it happens, as said before they slap pies in faces, that could also knock a CL off centre, which in turn makes it almost impossible to keep your eye open to correct it, If it was anyone other than Bear who caused her discomfort we probably would never have heard about it IMO of course

CBB finishes on Friday come on. Not a Bear fan at all cannot stand the moron but it's been obvious right from the start that he was the chosen one.

Chill everyone only 4 months to the next one.

It's the way he keeps making threats about re-arranging peoples' jaws that gets me

... oh hang on, that's not him, is it ?

Still though, the 'escalation' from play-fighting with a laughing girl to squirting water is scary ... God knows what he will do next ... might be a nuggie !

It's terrifying I tell ya .. terrifying

It's not really people taking it seriously, it's taking it a little bit seriously for the time that they post about it on DS, I doubt is seeps into their lives and causes them sleepless nights or anything

For me the best part of Big Brother is the forum, I enjoy it - it's a hobby, a pastime, it stimulates me for a while. I imagine that's the same for most other users here.

Once we aren't posting we go about our lives and don't think about what's been put on these forums, but when we are here we enjoy it and part of that is picking a trashy TV show, and the participants therein, to shreds ”

Well put...see your point

Your right BB encourages that behaviour.

That is really cringeworthy (as is the user name, which some may find offensive.) King of what? Bad shtick? Over-used catchphrases? Repetitive attention-seeking?

Great post, with your permission I'm going to quote this whenever anyone plays the 'don't take it so seriously' card.

A really good post and it put things into perspective. We all tend to get wound up on here by things that really don't matter. and I should just be grateful that I never have to be in a room with the awful bear.
