Anyone who needs to constantly big themself up all the time is indeed deluded.

No she's not the most deluded housemate, not even in there in my opinion.

I think people go in there with ego fully intact - they live in worlds where your ego is what you have to sell, their product is themselves, they believe in themselves as it's all they have.

She perhaps just vocalised that a bit too much, a bit like giving herself a pep talk - I think it was aimed as much to remind herself that she was worthy as it was to whoever she was talking to.

Perhaps her ego isn't as big as it may have appeared

I think anyone who goes into showbiz of any kind has an affirmation issue. However, I reckon there are those who simply love the art and go into poorly paid theatre jobs, getting discovered by accident - but even some of those are annoying luvvies.

Your average Joe, with intelligence and who does not need approval, will perhaps become a lawyer or doctor. My opinion is - and it is only my opinion- that a lot of wanabees are in desperate need of approval, Sam being one of them.

Having said that, I think she is harmless and quite a nice girl. Her ego - or, if you delve deeper, lack of self-esteem, has been her downfall. But she hasn't killed anyone. I feel a bit sorry for her. She should embrace middle-age - which I think she does to a degree, but there is something quite sad about her.

Edit. Just a thought. She and Mum obviously adore each other - but Daddy!!! If my husband sent topless pics of my beautiful daughter anywhere, I would find that extremely odd. In fact, he would be cockless by now

No sir. She was up the other week too and beat Lewis and James.

A little bit, maybe. She's living in the past and it's gone, along with her fame. I would pass her in the street and not recognise her but if it makes her happy to believe that she's an icon, then let her continue to be happy.

I agree with you. Re her Dad, I don't know if that would happen now - there doesn't seem to be any need for fathers to promote their semi-naked daughters, we have papers such as the Daily Mail (their website at least) covered in semi-naked pictures of any 'zeleb' they can get, including very young people. They past their website full of it, but will still berate anybody for doing the same of course

I agree, if it makes her happy and helps her get through the day, who am I to tell her to stop It's harming nobody. It's a bit of a survival technique I think.

IMO, yes.

She should know that we're not in 1986 anymore. We are in 2016, and her "fans" are most likely not watching Big Brother.

What did she do again?

Page three and some crappy pop song that had her posing half-dressed in a sexy video? Was that it?

I remember a reality show when she got a bit mouthy at a table in a restaurant. She seemed drunk.

Now, she's just a middle-aged woman. Not very interesting. Not very funny.

Oi, she did more than that. She also appeared in an episode of Charles In Charge with Scott Baio. And The Roland Rat Show. And Blankety Blank. And things.

At least 30 million in the UK alone would recognise Sam Fox in the street. Probably at least 200 million world wide. Don't think she'd be that bothered if you couldnt tell who she was to be honest.

Apparently it doesn't, since she has a face like a slapped backside most of the time.

The worst moment for me was when her pen got confiscated, and she said she always needed it for autographs.

She got the shock of her life last night and deserved every second of it.

Always seemed very bitter to me (since she arrived) and someone who I would avoid given the chance.

Renee, Ricky, Marnie seem to know their station, there is humility there.

Aubrey, Sam and Katie seemed to need to believe they are stars or somehow better.

Probably yes!

There is no doubt that back in the 80s, Sam Fox was a household name - half the country probably saw her in The Sun every other week, she was a top Pin Up Model & possibly every teenager at the time remembers her big hit 'Touch Me'....
However that was 30 years ago ... & nowadays I would be surprised if many people under the age of 25 in the UK know or would recognise her - nor would they care.

But rest assured - if Sam Fox is almost forgotten now - you can guarantee that all the wannabe realty GS/TOWIE stars will be forgotten in 10 years time - never mind 30!!

^ You're being incredibly generous there! I'd say more like 10 months. Or even 10 weeks. And in some cases, 10 days.

And, in an ideal world, their 'reign' should last no more than 10 minutes.

Oh really? Can anyone remind me what the other "celebrities" have done in their lives. Answers on a postage stamp, please.

Yes I agree with the observations. In the 1980s Sam was a big deal. This was pre internet so tv and papers had lots of influence. I think only Princess Diana was more featured. But that was 30 years ago. I think Sam came across as having an unrealistic expectation of the show and its audience.

Nope that would be Stephen who thinks that he can make a career out of this sort of behaviour.

I don't think she's the most deluded HM but she does appear to be living in the past.

She certainly has a large ego & can't seem to accept that not everyone likes her.

I wouldn't say she is deluded, but the first thing she does every morning is check the post to see if her damehood has arrived

I watch & wonder about her. Is she trying to convince the HMs & public or herself that she's still relevant.
