Fiio X5
Not sure if this is the right forum but as the search function doesn't work I thought I'd post here.
My last ipod classic has died on me so need to get a replacement I've been looking on the net and the Fii0-X5 looks to be reasonably priced and I wondered if anyone on here has used one and what they are like to use before I splash the cash

I have the X5ii (2nd Gen) and can highly recommend it.
Sound quality is very good (even better than the X1), it has 2 x 128gb micro sd slots and can play most formats. Anything else you need to know feel free to ask. Battery life is good and can be used while charging. |

We use to be able to plug the ipod into the car via usb and play the music through the car stereo - would the X5 be able to do this?

It has a line out port if that helps as well as headphone port. P.s. If your car stereo can read the music off the iPod then it will be able to read off the X5 in non USB DAC mode. |
