have a read at what you said I said and then see what you quoted me in bold and note that they are two different things

If I have misunderstood what you meant when you say members who are younger don't much musical knowledge or tend to favour certain artists then please explain what you did mean by it because to me it not only read as rude and snobbish I think there was a degree of baiting without your post too.”

I didn't say that at all

this is what I actually said "typically fans of those artists are young and don't have much musical knowledge, and also often don't have a particularly good understanding of English to articulate themselves well. perhaps due to growing up in an era of txtspeak."

it's as if you have read too quickly, ignored some of the words, in particular those in bold and interpreted it as "ALL young people blah blah blah ALWAYS this and ALWAYS that"

is that clear enough for you to see where you went wrong?

You haven't pointed anything out to me as you haven't actually said what it was you meant. You keep saying I misunderstood your post, well tell me what you mean by it then in a way which doesn't come across as patronising.”

wrong again. I have. you can always go back and reread what I've said

how am I supposed to tell if what I type is going to be something that you can understand or not? other people can read and understand it perfectly fine

the long and short of it is you have read something, not paid enough attention to it and instead of quoting it you misquoted by retyping what you incorrectly understood as being said

I know what you wrote as I quoted it and challenged you on it. I know what you did. You dressed it up in a way to not be too obvious but I saw through it. Even now you still can't explain to me why you think this.

You have the floor, why do you typically think younger members of the forum have less musical knowledge than yourself?

I could make a post saying 'typically some of the older members on here are patronising and pompous' see what I did there? but I wouldn't.

Please don't insist on trying to lecture me either. You are continuing to come across as patronising. Its no wonder half this forum has you on ignore. There is just no need for it.
