He had a hit in 2012. Name one hit show that Marnie has been in that has gained more viewers than any other show for a single night. In fact don't bother, cause you can't. GS highest viewers have been over just 1 million and CBB highest viewers have been just over 2 million. Hardly record breaking figures for TV shows.

I hardly doubt Marnie is 4 years old. George Michael had his last hit single 4 years ago.

Well exactly.

It reminds me of when my nan couldn't believe that my brother had never heard of George Formby.

I suppose people get older and can't remember what it's like to be young. That's when you start sounding like your nan!

I've heard of George Formby and George Michael.

I'm younger than Bear, how old is Marnie?

I thought that too. She was acting. Badly. Even if she hadn't known she was far too shouty for it to be a genuine response.

So because you have heard of George Formby that means the average person your age should know him 100%??

Speaking of google

Katie is talking to Marnie and says she hates to google herself because the first thing that comes up is the X Factor.
Katie asks Marnie what comes up when you google her name
Marnie "a picture of my fanny"
Katie looks confused like she doesn't know if it's a joke and asks if that's true and Marnie says "yeah my fanny got papped and it's the top result on my google page."
Katie "isn't that kind of embarrassing."
Marnie "Yeah...No. It's OK I shaved."

Every time you think she can't go any lower she does.

I've never heard of her before this show, and she's never heard of George. Fair enough I'd say. You can't expect everybody to know everything about everybody.

And, the "what do you put in a toaster" is a classic trick question, a lot of people will answer toast, and it has nothing to do with intelligence at all.

Just like asking them to say "silk" ten times out loud then asking "what do cows drink?"

or... If a red house is made from red bricks, and a blue house is made from blue bricks, and a pink house is made from pink bricks and a black house is made from black bricks, what is a greenhouse made from?

To be fair , I was more shocked that in the general quiz they give all the HMs before the show, only Frankie , out of the three Americans, knew how many stars there are on the American flag !!...........

Don't forget the last one (Spotty T?) also shat during sex and wiped it on the duvet, and proudly told the housemates about the story.

Furthest North I've ever been is Yorkshire, and I'm not one to criticise others way life, but there does seem to be a reccurring theme among Geordies here. I'm sure Newcastle is lovely.

Assessing someone's intelligence on whether they know a pop star from before they were born and jumping in quickly with the wrong answer to a trick question is a bit harsh.

Exactly, unless you actually come across someone, the chance of actually knowing who they are is relatively low.

There are many well known music artists who I don't know, when if asked about them I wouldn't be able to answer.

It's just my opinion, based on what I've seen and heard her do over the last few weeks.

If you arrive at a different conclusion - good for you.

I agree she's boring, thick and crass.

And she's proud of it.
