I am sure Aubrey wants to win, they all do. However, I do not think she thinks she will. She showed how surprised and delighted she was to be in the final. I don't think she, Renee or Frankie believe they could win. As she said he may have beaten them all, with the help of Producers, to win this CBB. But they all get the better of him, because they retained their humanity, dignity and decency and will return to enjoy a successful life.

I think that Aubrey wanted to do BB the American way - definitely out to win, working out a strategy, making alliances for voting purposes, putting on a good face for the public, keeping on the right side of the other HMs etc.

Everything has fallen into place - practically everyone who she has nominated has been evicted, she herself has avoided even being up for eviction; she has played it to perfection.

I think she is GUTTED that despite playing the perfect game, she has been beaten hands down by someone whose game has been the polar opposite to hers. Bear has made no useful alliances, he has made no effort to endear himself to the other HMs or indeed the public.

But - as far as she can see - his infuriating game of 'piss off the other HMs and break all the rules' seems to be working. I think this has frustrated her enormously - which is why she has had to go outside the arena of CBB to cut him down to size.

I agree with your first part - I think the Americans know they would have to be very lucky to win in the UK.

But remember that we are talking about the woman who spat in a sandwich when you use the word 'dignity'.

And that everything is relative - Bear will probably do better after winning this than he did before entering the house, therefore a change for the better in his world, but I don't know how this experience will improve Aubrey's life.

It makes me laugh when obnoxious behaviour is excused in some and slated in others depending on who people like on BB. This person actually spat in someone's food and drink for which she should have been ejected. This act showed her for what she is. It takes a certain kind of lowlife to spit in someones food and Bear has not done this has he ? but she has. When Aubrey goes on about pie in the face she seems to forget her own disgusting behaviour and is outraged. Bear was right lighten up and if she was as big as she says why is she on a low rent reality show desperate for cash and talking about blowjobs.

Renee tonight set up Bear knowing what that mask meant to him and is tag teaming with Miss spit to knock Bear out of the game.Renee showed herself to be liar and game player and the blonde spitter is in it with her. How are these two uber bitches better than Bear. Bear is an annoying eejit at times but I have never seen him be as nasty as these two or say the same nasty stuff Aubrey said tonight .Renees language and behaviour is disgusting anyway...Calling someone a disease and being so derogatory and below the belt showed her up as emotionally abusive and nasty. . .
Being personal and nasty is a below the belt way to argue and a really articulate person never needs to resort to personal insults. or tries to degrade another persons human value like Aubrey did tonight. When you do that you have lost the argument and showed yourself up as spiteful and unkind.

Ricky could show her a thing or two about handling Bear. he speaks to Bear with respect, calmness and talk sense to him and Bear responds positively.. Ricky can see the women are winding Bear up and so can I.. The whole thing was started with the knickers convo which was nasty. and typical Renee fodder. Then we had the mask set up. These women are not innocents or victims, They are RTV veterans who know all the dirty tricks and are playing them. Bears behaviour does not excuse theirs. They are mature women a lot older and more experienced than Bear. They are responsible for their own actions and words. These two women IMo are vile. Anyone who would spit in anyone's food is utter scum.

No she is not gutted. She is young and has had a successful real career.

She articulated exactly why Bear is popular with a segment of the public. He plays to the lowest common denominator.

The stupid, the chavs etc will love his act, they identify with him.

Who would want to win a contest which required you to win the approval of such people?

The winner would surely be the one who got the lowest votes from this demographic.

Perhaps some of that demographic, who are supporting him on here, could come on and explain what admirable qualities he possesses that other folk should aspire to and which would deserve him winning a contest that was originally designed to reward a person who was being true to their real character. A character that had a modicum of human decency.

As Marnie just said on live feed "Their entertainment is singing and dancing and mine is causing mischief and making a good TV show".

I think most decent people would opt for the former actually, no doubt the chavs will disagree!

She shouldn't have sworn at him because in my opinion, the second you swear and/or shout in a confrontation with someone, you lose power... BUT. Despite that she was fantastic, kept herself pretty calm & articulated her thoughts extremely well.

He's a grown ***king man for goodness sake. He's responsible for all his actions in that house and he's pretty much terrorised the place. He's got no respect, no compassion and no empathy for anyone in there and you want what? For her to keep it pleasant and not make it personal?

He needed taking down a peg (or fifteen) and she did a sterling job, she hit him where it hurt, seems she's equally as good at detecting weaknesses as he is.

I reckon it is not a great percentage of the millions of original BB viewers and voters most of whom have drifted away from the program in the face of the relentless gross behaviour of the reality TV chavs from Geordie Shore, Towie, Ex on the Beach etc.

Some are left but I doubt many are voting for the chavs. A much bigger proportion of current viewers and particular voters are those who love and identify with such crass behaviour. It's pretty obvious they would remain in bigger numbers and overall percentages, they are loving the direction of the show.

Now that's my view on why these gross people are winning the more recent series.

I've loved Aubrey more and more as the series has gone on but tonight she completely slayed the scum bag and showed him for what he really is. I think that was actually the highlight of the series. What she said was absolutely spot on. I couldn't get enough, truth after truth after truth.

I was biased as before the show started I was routing for Renee all the way, but she may have just been dethroned. Princess Aubrey no more.

I did watch it a couple times, gotta be honest.

She was hardly having a meltdown lol, she was collected & articulate.
BB told Bear & Katie to stand still & let a few others throw a pie at them from a distance... Bear couldn't do what he was supposed to do as usual & on top of that pied Aubrey... She had every right to be hacked off.

Yes, she was listing the things she's done - so what, it's true.... When Aubrey said he'd never be allowed to talk to her & Renee in real life & Bear said "Oh What, Cos I Ain't Got Enough Money?!" she said no, it's your personality. I think she made some really good points.
She was wrong to chuck crap in his bed though.

Indeed... I'm pretty sure there's some gruesome crap going on his head right now, but he's smart enough to know he's gotta be a bit careful. I should imagine he'll revert to the passive/aggressive stuff - just with the emphasis on the aggressive part.

She's rattled him HARD though & if she can keep herself as collected & articulate as she was on tonights show, he's gonna have a hard job getting to her.
She should have owned him like this before, instead of doing what she did.
