Screen overlay detected issue
Evening all,
Yesterday, I signed up to a contract with EE for a Samsung Galaxy S7. Everything has transferred from my iPhone 5S fine with the exception of my Whatsapp chat history. I am aware that my iPhone backs up to iCloud and Android's back up to Google Drive which is what causes the issue. I am using Wazzap Migrator in order to sort this out. I first downloaded iPhone Backup Extractor to extract the required chat and media files. So far so good. I then connected my phone to my PC but the folder it is asking me to put them in (also called Wazzap Migrator) doesn't exist. No problem as apparently it also checks the download folder. However, i go and open up the app and I'm getting this issue with permissions. I have turned all the apps that can appear on other apps including the system apps yet I still get the same error. I could go without getting the Whatsapp history, but as quite a few chats from my last couple of years of uni are in it, I wanted to keep them if possible. Does anyone know how I can solve this issue and complete this last step of Whatsapp history transfer? Many thanks Ryan |

Literally as I posted that, it suddenly worked. I don't know what I did but it happened. I'm now having a few issues with the media files but hopefully I'll get there in the end

I keep getting this, it's so annoying. It could be the adaptive brightness setting, or an app like twilight.

This is the most annoying thing about the S7 Edge I have - however I've narrowed it down (in my case anyway) to having Facebook Messenger chat heads open. I close these and the messages go away.

Facebook Messenger does this for the "chat heads" feature like you said. When Android wants to ask you something important (like installing a new app or granting permissions), one of these apps that's drawing on top could trick you into installing something you don't want or accepting permissions that you wouldn't want to. |
