I noticed that they asked Bear to tell them what he meant. But of course all Bear has to say is anything he wants it to mean once he's provided with the opportunity to get out of it.
Imagine if justice in the real world worked like this?
"Did you blackmail and threaten the defendant?"
"No I didn't"
"Oh, you didn't??? There's seems to have been a big mistake. We're so sorry. You're free to go".

They've already told him that he cannot do anything else as he was on a final warning, and they just let this fly by?
Imagine how sternly another housemate would be treated for making a threat.

Yes,she hid it. She didn't steal it, she didn't destroy it. The man's got no sense of humour. Besides it wasn't his to begin with.

And how many times has he destroyed food, been deliberately disruptive, trashed people's beds etc.? If he can dish it, he should be able to take it.

Bear doesn't see any of Rennee's words as a threat: that's the difference. Although I'd bet he will from now on. She's given him the idea and she does do it a lot, so it's a handy new way for him to get at her.
