I've met pretty much the whole of the (current and past) cast of Coronation Street over the years, but I live in Manchester and when they filmed at Quay Street they were pretty difficult to avoid.

Liz Dawn was always really nice, Jonny Briggs is tiny, Lynn Perrie was always pissed.

And Sue Nichols does her shopping in Sainsburys on Regent Road in Salford

Omg! As if you've met pretty much everyone! Have you met Paula Lane?

Not too sure I'd recognize any of the younger cast members if I saw them?

Of the older ones Julie Goodyear was always good fun. She used to drink in the same nightclub as us (Dickens, on Oldham Road in Manchester) and Jack Howarth (Albert Tatlock, Ken Barlow's Uncle) was a miserable old bastard.

I've met Sandra Gough who played Irma Ogden (and Nellie Dingle in Emmerdale) way too many times as she's a friend of a friend, i can't stand her! she's really not a nice person in any way

Ross Kemp after seeing him in a play. He was at the stage door and we went to get his autograph.

Sherrie Hewson - a long time ago. Her brother was working in same place as me

Both were perfectly pleasant people.

Haha, the price actually didn't bother me too much, for what it was I thought it was pretty good for the price

I know, more people would have gone if it was a bit cheaper though.

True but by how busy it was I think they sold as many tickets as they wanted to

Go to Clarendon Rd in Borehamwood then! That's what I do. Acc. to my list I've met 42 of the cast - but 43 persons !! (met Max's son Oscar - played by twins - met both twins as they went up to Henley Rd with two minders / or minder + mother) . I have of course met a lot of them several times: Lee, Lauren, Abi, Lucy, Jay, Phil, Stacey - the ones I can remember off hand)

And I don't live anywhere near Borehamwood - I live in Copenhagen, but go to London several times a year, and always spend a day up there.

Holby is done same place, so their cast is in and out same gate - but I don't watch Holby and know nothing about it - but for all I know, I could have met more Holby cast than EE cast. I frequently see "nurses" going out and back in - usually lunchtime - and they must be Holby who couldn't be bothered to change. My best meeting so far, October 2012 - nearly 10 of them came out in one go - it was surrealistic. Found out later they must have come straight from Xmas lunch - where Derek dies shortly afterwards - and half of them still wore the clothes they did for the shoot. Remember Lauren walking out with Abi - Lauren had changed, Abi had not - still wore her Xmas dress.

correction: yes, have met one Holby cast - in fact it was - let me see - yes November 2015 - was standing at the gates, this bloke comes up and tells me his name, that he's an actor and starts today at Holby City as some doctor's nephew. His name would be Jason, his real name was Jules or something, and the episode he would do now, would be shown middle of February 2016. So found it and watched it. Thought it strange an actor - more like some IT nerd - and coming up to me like that. but of course I knew nothing about him then

I met Sue Nicholls back in 1994.

She was such a lovely person- very warm and engaging.

Sorry to speak ill of the dead but back in 1999 I worked in a place that Wendy Richard used to frequent but she was unfriendly and miserable as well as rude.

I forgot one:

Just talking about this thread to my next door neighbor and he just reminded that he, his wife, my partner and I had a very boozy night with John Savident (Fred Elliot) in Napoleons in Manchester around the millennium (2000).

I barely remember it so it must have been good

( I'm sure my neighbor kept calling him Fred!)

Inverdarroch from High Road used to be a customer in the shop where my sister worked. I know his cousin as well. I once saw Eileen McCallum (River City and High Road) on a train

I've seen Paul around a few times. A few cast members live close by, Kay McCoy used to live two doors away from me

I am very jealous Sorcha!

I met Ian Williams (Adam Willis from neighbours) back in the 90's when i worked at Leeds city varieties. He was over doing panto, and he came onto me. He was definitely a bit of a letch. have met other (lovely) famous people but think he was the only one from a Soap!
