I understand we are going to get them every series, especially with Viacom now whoring out their parasites from ex in a sand dune and geordie bore. BUT should they just try one series, the upcoming winter series, without any TOWIE rejects and the like.
I can also just imagine some of them desperately trying to be like Bear in the next series which will just be unBEARable!
Really the Z list pool cant be so dry that they need to have these people in every series.

If there is a plethora of uk reality stars from Geordie Bore and the like then I simply won't watch. It makes it worse when these people have an unfair advantage as well.

Yes, there's no point putting them in as their victory is inevitable.

I haven't got a problem with reality stars, providing they're genuine, entertaining people with character.

What I don't want is stupid ***king mind games and childish behaviour. I don't want fake romances and I don't want poorly acted scripts. I don't want arguments for the sake of it and I don't want other people's emotions toyed with for 'entertainment'

Stick in 15 people I've never heard of, not a problem. Sure, call the 'celebrities', whatever, I don't mind.

It's not necessarily the applicants, it's more the job description and people doing the hiring that are the problem.

Katie did at least get down to the final 6 in x factor whereas Chloe didn't get one minute after being taken from the queue !

The problem with flooding the show with 'reality chavs' is that it's making CBB look like some sort of TOWIE or Geordie Shore spin off aimed at twentysomethings.

This is a very risky manoeuvre and could kill off the show eventually.

I would like to have a series of CBB where people didn't moan about the housemates. The age we live in means that there will always be reality stars on a reality show - odd that isn't it? Anyone at the top of their game will not want to go into the house no matter how much money you offer them - I mean would you? Even some of the usual celebs who go in have done other reality shows before.

Such a slippery slope.

I understand and agree with that but I can see why they put them in there. If we axed out all the reality TV "stars" and just left the more established ones the show could turn into a bunch of has-been celebrities patiently waiting to pick up their pay cheque.

I don't like them either, but why should they have none?

They are cheap and are willing to embarrass themselves. They'd rather have someone like Bear who got a measly 12k compared to the likes of Vinnie Jones who almost got half a million for sitting on his ass for 3 weeks.

What's the point? The only way someone actually famous would go in is if they were offered over £3m... they probably still wouldn't do it.

Reality stars are extremely cheap.

I'll expect MORE reality stars, not only are they cheap but they do well.... IMO Bear will win, if not, Marnie will... both from reality and will join James Hill and Scotty T as the 3rd reality winner in a row.

If the reality stars didn't do well, we wouldn't be seeing them all the time, but they keep winning or coming 2nd.

So will they pay small amounts for people who may win, or huge amounts to people who would walk out?

That's about right for where they're heading.

For the cost of a couple of big tasks they could get several housemates who can create all the 'drama' they need/want.

Like I said it's not the fact they're "reality" "stars", hell chuck members of the public in there and tell me they're celebrities (I'd be none the wiser really, I know none of em), as long as they're genuine and have personalities I'd be happy but that not the way BB are going either.

Scripted, fake, provocative nonsense is what's on the menu for the foreseeable future.
