Haven't seen that. Again, maybe it's the producer's fault then because I haven't seen anything nice about Stephen, all we get shown is the crap and detritus so that's what I've formed my opinion on.

I not saying I think he might be an angel but this exaggerated character has not been good for anyone. They were happy to exploit the 'Bear' aspect of his personality and he was happy to play to type for his paycheck. Once they've got want they want out of him he'll be discarded like everyone else and being an asshat can only take you so far.

I just think the producers' vision for BB isn't what it should be. You can pay people to behave a certain way but all you're going to get is a thinly veneered imitation of reality.

Another instance of the producers hiding what they don't want us to see. He's been cast as the villain and that's the only footage they'll show. Today we're getting footage of happy, lively Ricky and nice Bear....bit late IMO.

Yeah, Renee said she was crying once and Bear lay with her in bed for an hour or so cuddling her until she stopped. IMO, that would of been worth showing if he really is the "chosen winner".

I seen a clip of Aubrey saying that Bear was like an annoying younger brother but that she now gets him and that he has really nice moments and in depth conversations. They really do only show what they want to.

It doesn't fit the agenda though does it? They'd rather show him in the bedroom having a go at the nearly 50 year old woman telling her she should go off and have a cry in a minute. That's what we were shown.

If the producers were clever they would have started a proper redemption arc when I made that post and helped him rather than using him for empty and ugly 'drama'.

I still think he has a good chance of winning but if they did show more of a nicer side to him I think he would walk it.

What I don't like is all the nastiness it's caused, particularly on here with some of his 'supporters' who I just think are out to troll and wind people up, much like their artificial idol.

I don't think it's a good thing to promote behaviour like that because it's not real and will get you or others seriously injured in the real world if you pick on the wrong person. Alternatively, picking on weaker people is just nasty.

Decency and compassion are not bad qualities to carry with you in life. There could always be more understanding in the world and the toxic sludge that's dribbled out the backside of this programme is not anything anyone should be celebrating.

I will be sad if he wins without some form of redemption because that says something about the state of the voting public and their values.

Just to bring things back around, if there was a hero moment, some redemptive event I'd feel a lot easier about a win for Mr Bear. A win now, as is, would be quite sad.

Ricky's organising a Disco tonight... let's see if he sabotages it.

I remember that. And the dreadful Carole is testament to what is shown and what is not in order to portray an HM the way they want to.

We all knew from live feed that she was a nightmare, but the Hilight viewers thought she was a wonderful motherly woman.

He did. He was diplomatic and kind, and handled the loose cannon-knob very well. Like a child.

When Bear is 'nice' we like him, but when Bear is a horrible knob, we don't.

Basically.

Truth is though, I don't believe Ricky likes the 'whole' person at all. Even when Bear is 'nice' it comes across as fake, and something to 'lull people into a false sense of security'.

And calculated.

Ooh Carol... don't remind me. She was a completely different person on live feed. Horrible old bat. She ruled that kitchen like she owned the place. They weren't even allowed a scrap of toast unless she gave permission. Had to save their appetites for her mince and carrots.😫

Ahhhhh Ma Baker! Her grey mince & boiled to mush vegetables...........however she made sure she ordered all organic veggies for herself, while the rest of the HM's had the budget brands of all the food, which was doled out by her, & her alone!

Who can forget her manky towel which was hung half inside the oven door to dry! *shudders* or the scrapings of her dry skin from her feet, all done in the kitchen area! Funny how none of that was ever shown on the HL shows!

No need for comments like this, people have different opinions. It doesn't make them stupid.

At that point you have his long term fans already in the bank and convert the majority of the others into voters for Stephen.

Unfortunately the producers didn't allow enough airtime for anyone else for the viewing public to really dislike. There was no giant to slay.

It's a shame (for bear) that it was Aubrey who had the hero moment. However she hasn't done enough outside of that to win.

(and yes she spat in some food, for goodness sake people, get over it!)

The only other option for him now is to have a realisation/mini breakdown, come out with a sob story about his life and see the error of his ways. That would be it, done deal. He's fast running out of time and I'm not sure he's done enough for most people other than be a malcontent. He's placed himself at the center of all the crap he's generated which has garnered some fans (for reasons beyond me). It's all the others he needs to win over to secure a win.

Try and behave like grown ups in this thread please. You know who you are.”

The 'redemption arc' was all in your head.

It was never real. The producers were never planning it.

He seems to be doing fine without this imaginary help he's getting from the producers.

And he will most probably win without any more of your fanciful ideas.
