This from the guy who can't see the difference between winning something or simply taking part.

I imagine life is a lot simpler when you take everything at face value. Btw, I've been meaning to say, I've got exclusive rights to sell the eiffel tower for scrap metal, you'd make a lot of money. Wanna send me your bank details?

Did you get the diploma through?

I don't. Was the runner up who was a bit nasty Dave from bb11? I'm trying to think of male runner ups...the guy who finished second to Arron?

I don't think it's too late. Jason won BB on just one night [realistically].

I'm not saying the whole BB viewing world will suddenly change their minds [we wont], but enough will to NOT vote against him, and that will swing it.

IMHO.

But he has to pull it out of the bag.

Yes it was Dave...some sort of minister who claimed to be able to heal the sick.

I know you are cross that you were unable to turn me round to your way of thinking on your conspiracy theory thread, and you must be getting further frustrated that you are being proved wrong the closer we get to the final.

But this is a different thread. Please try to stay on topic.

I haven't got to turn any one around. People make their own minds up, some will agree, some won't. That's fine.

I was incredulous that you wouldn't concede that winning is better than taking part but if that's what you believe then wonderful. Carry on.

My position hasn't changed btw, I think the producers have had a massive part in manipulating this series for Stephen's advantage. I also believe it is something that was planned out weeks in advance. I still think they had an overall story arc for him but it seems they weren't intelligent enough to pull off the redemption arc or maybe even think of it.
Animosity and drama seems to be all they're interested in.

I'm not sure why I expect more from them. Because if that is really all it is, no clever storyline/arc/redemption then it's even worse than I thought.

I think Bear was too thick to realise what he actually had to do and kept compromising it all - so they went with 'relentless arsehole' as it was popular anyway, and it's all Bear can really do convincingly.

That should go on his CV, like doctors and solicitors have letters after their name

The BB history book is littered with HMs who took part in BB but did not win who have been much more successful than the winners off the back of the show. People like Nikki, Victor, Jade Goody, Alison Hammond, John Tickle, Imogen, Aisleyne...

None of them winners, all of them just took part.

Bear is the "hero" because he saved this shit series from going full on comatose.

That's not bad, we lasted 3 pages.

I'm happy with that.

I always like to get in there before expectations get too high. I figured 3 pages was a comfortable level.

I don't think it's a good thing to promote behaviour like that because it's not real and will get you or others seriously injured in the real world if you pick on the wrong person. Alternatively, picking on weaker people is just nasty.

Decency and compassion are not bad qualities to carry with you in life. There could always be more understanding in the world and the toxic sludge that's dribbled out the backside of this programme is not anything anyone should be celebrating.

I will be sad if he wins without some form of redemption because that says something about the state of the voting public and their values.

Just to bring things back around, if there was a hero moment, some redemptive event I'd feel a lot easier about a win for Mr Bear. A win now, as is, would be quite sad.”

Apart from the redemptive event bit in the last line, I agree wholeheartedly with this fine post.

Doesn't look like we get the redemption so it'll be an ugly win but he'll be remembered as the winner of the worst BB of all time, a manipulated, engineered fabrication full of fauxmances, frustration and animosity.

Good job everyone.

Yes, definitely no brain there whatsoever.
