Press launch today.

Everyone appeared except Simon and Sharom because of US commitments.

Pictures of red carpet: http://www.itv.com/xfactor/news/here...016-press-laun

Early Twitter reviews from journalists are saying:

'If it's not broken don't fix it, love the return of this judging panel - Rianne lson, Woman magazine

'Great 1st #XFactor episode. Couple of potential finalists & couple of hilarious comedy characters. Not sure if I'm on my period but just cried during 2 auditions in the new #XFactor episode. Watch out for 1 guy & 2 girls who are incredible' - James Ingham, Daily Star

'Just seen #xfactor episode one. One of the strongest launches so far. Panel really works. Big tears, big laughs.' Dan Wooton, The Sun.

'Well we absolutely LOVED the old gang back together on @TheXFactor ! Make sure you watch on Sat & Sun to tell us what YOU think! #XFactor' Simon Cowell Online

'We're so in love with @NicoleScherzy! Can't wait for you all to see #XFactor this weekend 🙅' DIVA magazine

Apparently one auditioned received a round of applause from the crowd as well so lools like an amazing launch could be ahead!!

Wooton is the Biggest kiss a** there, he would say anything positive about anything Cowell created. Nothing he says can be believed

Apparently this just happened

Press reporter to Louis Walsh: 'Louis you championed Nicole's return to the X factor this year, what does she have that Rita Ora and Cheryl don't'

Nicole: is this question for real, do you want me to show you?

Apparently she belted out I'm telling you to the reporter. Amazing. I love that Nicole's finally hit back at Cheryl.

And Gifty who I THINK was said to have the 'best audition ever seen on a talent show globally' is also on it.

I think that is most unlikely tbh.

Gotta laugh at the Mirror's first X Factor crisis of the series http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrit...-simon-8702655

Obviously Simon and Sharon aren't going to be there - Simon's doing the AGT finals and Sharon's got to do The Talk in the U.S.
Hardly like they've both gone "**** this shit" and not bothered

A whole lot of praise for Nicole today. Apparently journalists couldn't contain their laughter when interviewing the hosts/judges, good signs of chemistry.

Their's a video of her ignoring a question about Cheryl as well, she's always been silent about their small feud until now.

Journalists seem to relish at the prospect of using "X Factor" and "crisis" in the same title. Awful, awful writing.

Do people even know it's back this week a very poor build up.

Can see it struggling badly this year

I agree. Just 2 days to go and most people don't know it's back this weekend. Their social media promotion is awful, just posting daily gifs that reach less than 1000 people. They haven't released an official trailer etc. They should do something similar to their latest 'Cold Feet' advertising on Facebook which as reached 3 million + people. If they don't boost promotion up quickly the series could launch badly. They need a miracle. It's a shame because with the right advertising it could potentially do really good.

No, but not all 9 million of it's Facebook likers actually see the post. I never see X Factor posts on my timeline unless it's got a lot of likes/shares.

Aren't all early ''Twitter reviews'' good when they've seen the preview? The shit reviews will probably come out when the show starts

Not really. Last year's reviews mostly praised the talent and whilst they mentioned good chemistry between judges, which they did have a bit of. The difference is, this year we know what the chemistry will be like as we've had all judges put together before.

^^^^^

This, last year he made up a lot of stuff, he invented stuff then said he got the TV channels to comment on it, - this would have been impossible, as the article he wrote was a week wrong! He looked at the wrong listings.
