How many chances does Cavani want.
To be fair, that was a terrific piece of goalkeeping from Cech. |

Seeing Celtic getting stuffed is a joy to behold, even if it is by Barcelona

Ospina!
![]() As for Celtic, I can't think of too many teams who've gone from a 5-1 win to an 8-0 defeat in consecutive games. |

I've just had a 165/1 accumulator ruined by a last-minute Besiktas equaliser. FFS!

Just got in, a quick question why was the City match called off when after a bit of a dely our match at Leigh was played to a conclusion, was the rain that much worse at their place?
Oh and when will their match take place? |

City's game will be played tomorrow.
Games at Macclesfield Town and Stockport County were postponed also. |

Well apart from the pitch being way beyond playable, all the transport networks around Manchester city centre, and to and from the ground being shut down due to the storms. Roads were being shut and as is being reported we had half a months rain come down in just over an hour... I'm not to sure.
Leigh's ground isn't that far away from their ground is it, surely Leigh do not have a better drainage system then City?? Strange, anyway thanks for the reply. |

Yeah it was bad, very bad where I live earlier in the day, it must have moved from my area over there (all of those lies about today being the hottest day ever, or some malarkey like thar, I don't think I saw the sun once!).

Man City ought to ask Leigh if they can borrow their superior facilities for their entirely identical circumstance.
PS I'm playing football twice in three days this week, how come so-called 'professional' players need to wait longer? |

Celtic got City at home next. That won't be easy as City are playing well and if de bruyne plays the way he did on Saturday................the games against the germans might be their best chance of at least possibly the europa league

Obviously you're just trying to get a dig in about City's pitch, but as emphasised in the post you quoted the primary reason for calling it off was the utter transport chaos that would have prevented or significantly hindered the journeys of the tens of thousands of fans going to the game.
I assume whoever was playing at Leigh didn't have such a crowd. There was no dig implied or anything like that. Also it as our under 23 side playing Villerreal's side of that age range in the Premier League International Cup (of which Villerreal are the defending champions). |
