It did look like they had a gameplan from the off, but when they did create chances, there was no one to really put them away. De Bruyne is wonderful, fantastic player, but a goalscorer he is not, so playing him as the furthest forward player, and hoping that he could nick a goal, was I think an error. If you are going to play like that, then you might as well just play Aguero, as he is far more likely to nick a goal, then De Bruyne. |

Man City maybe just rested Aguero, they were really going to lose either way against Barcelona and De Bruyne and Gundogan needed the match for fitness after injuries.
