Yes well done city it's the win against a big team that the usually lack in Europe.

Good performance should get through in second ok

Fully deserved victory for City, they were scintillating as an attacking force tonight.

Barcelona were just anonymous for most of the match.

Great night for English clubs full stop with Arsenal's comeback victory in Bulgaria.

Goal of the season contender for sure. Ozil is in the form of his career right now.

Yeah, it just seemed like their midfield went missing at some point. Like they got totally overrun. Iniesta is a big miss but I think bringing off Rakitic was a bad move too. The lost all control in the centre of the park.

Impressive from Man City and Arsenal showing good fight to come back from 2 down.

Decent point for Celtic although maybe not enough in the long run?

If the referee doesn't think that's a penalty for Spurs then surely he has to book Alli for a dive?

Spurs having an absolute stinker of a run.

Beat Man City at the beginning of October and haven't won a game since.

Maybe the last 16 might be shaken up for a change rather have the same games all the time.

At the moment juventus, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are all in second place.

Leicester and Arsenal will probably end up drawing them though

I remember seeing spurs fans calling other fans jealous because they had an easygroup on paper back in 2010. Made the same mistake 6 years later. When they qualify again in the next 5 years they might learn there are no easy groups in the CL like Arsenal found out against Monaco and almost against Ludogorets last night.

To be fair to Spurs, I don't know any of their fans who said it would be an "easy" group. It's been said from the start that it's actually a difficult group as you have 3 teams who are at a similar level.

We (Arsenal) only had 3 points after 4 games last season and we still qualified for the knockouts so it's not over yet for Spurs, though they're probably going to have to win in Monaco.

English fans are really arrogant though, especially in Europe. Fail to see that currently English football is as poor a standard as I recall, Leicester never won the League as they were immense it was because the big teams are all poor just now.

I'd bet Dortmund, Bayern, Barca, Real, Atletico or Juventus would rub their hands at drawing Leicester, Arsenal or Spurs in the knockouts. Only Man City could compete with the real top teams as they have the quality players but even then you wouldnt be confident of backing them to beat any of them either, certainly they will not be winning the competition.

I'm taking Sevilla to beat Juve tonight, and qualify. Juve have massive injury problems. No Higuain, Dybala, Barzagli, Pjaca so only Mandzukic up front with Cuadrado and the youngest ever player in a major league on the bench. 16 years old, made his debut as a sub last weekend- Moise Kean. Might be overhyped, but already has Raiola as his agent (sigh).

I've just been to the Sanchez Pizjuan. Saw Sevilla beat Atletico in pouring rain. Whole crowd still managed quite a bit of noise, although it wasn't full, despite almost everyone holding an umbrella (only rains there when I go on holiday I think). They look so well organised under Sampaoli.

Not sure how this CSKA/Leverkusen game is still 1-1

Loads of missed chances from both teams

Typical Spurs - get back into the game but then throw it away again!

Leicester making it look easier but just been pegged back.

9 goal thriller in Dortmund so far.

Did anyone have the impression that spurs weren't that bothered about the champions league and showed the same indifference to it as the europa league.

Watch them play a youth side to lose to cska so they don't have to go in the europa league

How can you say Tottenham were not bothered about tbe Champions League when they did so well to qualify for it in the first place. They even had a chance of winning the title last season

The reason they did not qualify was playing their home games at Wembley. And having key players injured early in the campaign with the likes of Kane and Dembele

this is absolutely incorrect.
