How can you say Tottenham were not bothered about tbe Champions League when they did so well to qualify for it in the first place. They even had a chance of winning the title last season

The reason they did not qualify was playing their home games at Wembley. And having key players injured early in the campaign with the likes of Kane and Dembele
You can see in the interview now Kane saying they were never good enough

In the Real Madrid game, a Real defender put his arm up to appeal for handball - whereupon the ball hit it and he gave sway a penalty!

The Sporting Lisbon red card in that game was pathetic

The bad side of football (play acting to get somebody sent off)

Dortmund look a real threat this year, I like the style of football that they are playing, the fact that they do seem to concede a few goals though might be their undoing eventually in this year's edition.

Congratulations to Leicester on putting their miserable Premier League form behind them, to qualify for the next stages, it is some Jekyll and Hyde doing on their part!

Could they be the first team to win the Champions League, and also get relegated in the same season?! (Not counting the year Marseille won it and then were stripped off it and I think demoted for match fixing.)

two things I'm fairly certain of:

1 - Leicester will not win the CL this or any other season in the seeable future
2 - Leicester will not get relegated this season

After writing off Trump, and Brexit, I am not going to write off anything else at the moment, but your first point does seem more likely than your second.

Despite everyone making jokes about Europa League being at Wembley - I'm sure I read that White Hart Lane is fine for EL games. I think it's only UEFA's Champions League regulations that WHL didn't pass. I mean they COULD still play at Wembley, but they don't have to.

Having said that, I fully expect Spurs to do this best to ensure they don't qualify for the thing!

Germans just can't buy a result in Russia in November, can they?

Same old Arsenal, always cheating!

Shocking dive from Sanchez for that penalty.

This is a difficult one to play out for arsenal .

Win the group could draw Bayern and Real Madrid

Could finish second and get someone like benfica

Why was Ramsey holding his face when Cavani pushed him in the chest?

Tepid 5 yard pass fest at The Emirates so I starred watching Barcelona - quicker and edgier 5 yard pass fest...

How has Cavani not put this match to bed for PSG?

That header came at the end of a fantastic flowing move.
