Bayern a dangerous 2nd seed in the next round.

Just think - could be them v Barca/Madrid...or Leicester.

I'm not sure Bayern are a dangerous 2nd seed. They were shocking last night and I don't think they are adapting to a style that is different to Pep. I've watched them several times in the Bundesliga, they have been disjointed, drawn 3 times and lost once and whilst they have won 7 they were far from convincing.

My son was disappointed with Arsenal last night probably finishing second "again" I think he'd be happy if Arsenal drew Bayern in the last 16.

A lot of people are saying this but I'd still like to avoid them. Playing them is just getting boring now and despite them not appearing to be as fluid as they were last season, they'd still beat us - I'm sure of it. They're still Bayern, they can still turn it on. If we're going to go out in last 16 again, I'd rather it be against Atletico, at least it's different.

Agreed arsenal really need a favourable draw to have any hope of getting beyond the last sixteen. They got it a couple of years ago with Monaco but they are much better now.

Would have to be the winners of the Napoli group

At quarter past twelve, games that ended three hours previous aren't 'last night' unless you're not allowed out when it gets dark.

It looks like Arsenal could draw Bayern Munich, Dortmund or Sevilla. But Monaco or Porto could be tough

The two things in bold are connected, so there's no luck involved.

Arsenal/Leicester can get:

PSG/Porto (clearly Arsenal cannot get PSG - Leicester Porto)
Benfica
Bayern Munich
Bayer Leverkusen
Real Madrid
Sevilla FC

Man City can get:

Juventus
Dortmund
Monaco
Atlético Madrid
SSC Napoli

Is Howard Webb an Arsenal fan by any chance

The only way Arsenal will win the Champions League is if Real Madrid gets Atletico and Barcelona gets Bayern Munich

I look forward to see who City get, as I can't see them getting past any of their possible opponents.

They beat Barcelona already, I wouldn't exact have them as rank outsiders even if I hate them and they're poo poo.

They should be beating Napoli and Monaco. I'd put them as favourites for those ties anyway. The others would be a tough ask but not mission impossible.
