Bayern vs Arsenal again. No reward for finishing top of the group.

Leicester can beat Sevilla. City get winnable draw too.
I'm disappointed as an Arsenal fan. 4/5 seasons Bayern. |

How come Leicester couldn't play Leverkusen? Is it because arsenal are already playing a German club same with PSG because man city playing monaco?

if Leverkusen had drawn Leicester, then it would've meant there were 3 Spanish teams that hadn't been drawn, and only 2 ties remaining. Since you can't have 2 sides from the same country face each other, Leverkusen had to draw either Barca or Atletico. Same reason why PSG couldn't play Leicester either, or it would've left only Barca and Sevilla.

I would be shocked if any English side made it through to the next round, as all of the matches are very tough, as Spurs found out, Monaco are not to be underrated, Bayern are well Bayern, no matter their form in the league, when it comes to the Champions League, they always turn it on, and Sevilla are a top quality side this season, and I think will have to much for Leicester.

As for Monaco, no one is under-rating them - certainly not since Arsenal discovered they were not quite the walkovers we were hoping for – but it will not be a shock if City win. In fact, I fancy City to do just that. |

Is that why they lost to Rostov and finished second in their group then? If that's "turning it on" then I quite fancy our chances.

In fact, I fancy City to do just that. Monaco are a much improved side since last season, and are bang in form, unlike City, and whilst of course a lot can happen between now and when the ties are played, Monaco do look a much better team or unit, and have an in form striker, which is more than City can say. I expect all of the English sides to go out, do I want that to happen, no as it would harm our co-efficient number as a country, and it wouldn't look too impressive either, but it is what I think will happen. |

When it comes to the knock out rounds, Bayern usually more often than not, do quite well, plus they do have a good record against Arsenal in recent meetings, so I expect them to go through.

Yeah Monaco are doing well in the French league (a mark of a great team, clearly... ) but on paper City are the better team. These matches are in Feb/March. Be silly to write off City in a match that is 2/3 months away based on their recent form.Arsenal is more understandable, but still, Bayern are not as good as there were in recent years, I certainly expect it to be close. |

I'm not disputing that Monaco and Bayern are good teams, just that it's an over reaction by you to say you'd be "shocked" if an English team went through.

The same goes for the Leicester match, where they will be going into that match as the underdogs, despite being Premier League champions, and topping their group. The Arsenal v Bayern match will be close, but I fully expect Bayern to come out on top over two legs. Hence why I think it would be a surprise if any of the English sides progress, just looking at things currently. Come the time of these matches, and injuries and the form of all involved could indeed have changed, then of course my ideas might very well change, but that is just the nature of talking about matches a bit in advance. |

Tough as an Arsenal fan to see us facing Bayern again after doing our job of topping the group. We have a better chance of going through than in previous seasons so we'll give it a go, but I find it hard to see us prevailing over two legs.
City and Leicester have got more favourable ties, but neither is certain to progress. Sevilla are a very good team and will challenge Leicester - that one could go either way. As we found out with Monaco, they are no pushovers and they look particularly strong this season. I expect Man. City to have resolved their current issues by February though and would imagine they'd have enough over two legs to progress. |

Wouldn't count on that happening. Have you watched much of Sevilla? They have been decent this season – only 1 point behind Barcelona in La Liga. And Leicester are, well Leicester. Sevilla had tougher opponents in the Europa League!
). They are very well organised and a great cup team. They are also well coached.I still think Leicester have a chance if they keep playing well, don't know why. Logic says not. |

Yes, I went there on holiday and caught their home win vs Atletico Madrid (in the pouring rain - Simeone paced the touchline in lurid, hi viz orange trainers with his black suit that I could even see clearly from my less-than-premium seat

If Leicester had to pick a draw we would have gone for Seville, Leverkusen or Benfica.
It's going to be tough but with the first leg away if we had drawn one of the big boys there was a danger it would all be over before they came to Leicester. |

Sevilla is the best from this three Teams.
I would take the other two Teams instead. Sevilla is in good form and Play very well with an good Organisation. Sampaoli is a grat Coach who knows who they can win. |
