There's some proper, proper dross in that draw.

Yeah, there are far better teams in the Europa League!

Don't think most of the number 1 seeds will be breaking sweat with those groups

Yeah, there's too many teams. The group stage has become a qualifying round for the knockout stage if you see what I mean.

Group C is looking the best, a real group of death. I'd fancy Barcelona and City to go through, but could be some nice clashes.

Decent chance of all 4 EPL sides making the knock-outs.

Yeah, you do have to wonder why United aren't there especially with their new line up.

My son is gutted. He has tickets for Spurs' group home games at Wembley. He was hoping for a Barcelona or Bayern.

So all English teams should make it into the first knock out stage, that hasn't happened in the past couple of seasons.

Celtic will be tough to beat at home. They'll probably lose all their away games easy enough.

Double edged sword. They should reach the knockout rounds.

I wouldn't guarantee anything with Leicester. I'm definitely sure the whole of Europe were desperate to get them.

Hes not a Spurs supporter. His mate is and he's organised to go with him in the hope of seeing some of the top European sides.

Expect all the English teams to go through. Celtic has zero chance.
A possibility of EL for them.

True. First CL seasons rarely go well.

I think it might well come down to the two matches against the German opposition for City, if they are to make it through that group, as I expect both of them to get beat by Barca twice, and to beat Celtic twice.

City should be able to get at least a draw at home to Barca so long as they turn up. I think all three away games are going to be tough.

They could, but I do see Barca as being too strong for that City backline, which is still taking shape.
