The format was perfect. People will fall out and you just don't need any production meddling to make that happen.

As for the others, I don't find them intriguing.

Now he has told us he is a BB Staff member I can understand the biased coverage.

This whole series is a joke - even the live feed was the bear show the camera was on him like he was Tom cruise , every moment that a house mate spoke the chimpanzee couldn't help himself but take the camera away ,he's a ****ing clown and fingers crossed someone sticks one on him ,the ****

We're not going to see eye-to-eye on this because I think Bear is toxic and ruined the show for participants and viewers and you don't.

That's how I see Bear - there's so much malice behind his "harmless pranks" . It's all about him and getting his mug in front of the camera all the time and he doesn't care who he tramples over to get his limelight.

To be honest, I think that this year's antics will scare off any interesting celebrities, and we'll get even more "Made in Chelsea/Essex/Geordieland" reality nonentities for the next series.

The Bear Bias has been as subtle as a brick.

Tonight's highlights was so bias it was actually embarrassing.

Something ( not cake gate ) kicked off between him and Renee as he told Marnie he was going to say sorry to her. But what did we get shown?! Well it wasn't whatever went on between them, rather, it was the complete opposite. It was an apologetic Bear making up, making breakfast, saying he wanted to just have fun, trying to talk to Renee and generally looking like the good guy.

But not a hint of what actually went on to know why Renee was behaving the way she was.

If that's not bias. I really don't know what is.🙄


Edit......Then again, it's no surprise. We had to wait until Sam came out to find out about the eye incident. Not a Murmur about that either.

There was bias on the official website even back in the CH4 days, it's been a mugs game voting on this for years.

I'm not wound up Cat, but I'm more flabbergasted that you have not watched live feed but think you know Bear so well! As for taking the show serious, are you joking, it's become a massive joke! After having somebody like Bear on the show, especially if he does win it will never be taken seriously again by any real Celebrities! The show is dead!

I saw it too. He really felt like he was entitled to get 'most entertaining'. Most oafish more like. All he has done is upset people. He might be having fun and think his behaviour qualifies as 'entertaining', ditto those on his team, but it's not entertaining to those he is constantly trying to get a rise out of. He can't grasp this.

Also in the DR highlights before last, he said the others haven't shown enough sides... maybe they would've if he hadn't stifled them. And beyond being a tosser what sides has he shown of himself?

That's because Bear is the only one that has done anything all series. They have more footage to pick from because all the other housemates were dullards. Other housemates only came to anyone's notice by creating an argument with Bear. He made them relevant for five minutes by allowing them to argue with him on occasion.

Exactly. It's annoying to read people say the other HMs aren't interesting or haven't done anything, when they've had an energy vampire in there hogging all the focus and deliberately needling them. Of course thats going to affect how they respond as individuals AND how they bond as a group. It's social psychology 101.

I can guess a few interesting dynamics we might have seen play out without Bear...Renee as house alpha, for example. Would her and Aubrey have bonded had they not been rallying against Bear? Ditto Renee and Sam? Could we have seen an interesting rivalry or power struggle? A house backlash against Renee, whose vulnerable side we might not have seen?

And Katie's neuroticism...how much of that could have played out if he hadn't pulled all the attention his way?

And Sam's ego? Or Lewis's narcissism? Or Heavy D not being a one note weirdo who copied Bear? Or Frankie's entertainment and possible game playing? Or Saira's obnoxiousness?

We've seen glimpses of all this but nothing more. Cos the entire social dynamic AND the show's focus has been largely, Bear. He can't even let us have an eviction without acting up for the cameras and that absolutely IS always interesting.

Utter rubbish, he stifled the rest of them into a kind of hostage situation and killed the series with his stupid shenanigans.

He made the other housemate dull and that's the bottom line. I pretty much gave up on it when I saw which way the wind was blowing, it was just another Helen Wood situation, and I couldn't stand watching her either.

Bear, Marnie and Heavy D were by FAR the biggest dullards in that house.

Nah ... its not worth any of our pennies, the producers can be as bias as they like, they all ways have been but it normally dosent work and when it does like with Helen, they end up banning the person from their after shows as they are too... well.

Its just sad that BB has descended into this booze addled mess over the fun tasks they used to do on c4. C5 must of loved it when Bear created his own tasks, saves them spending any money.
