People say that when anyone squares up to Bear. It will lose Renee some votes but it won't help Bear.

The place has exploded because Renee said it.

As someone has already pointed out it is a metaphorical statement and highly apt when applied to Bear. He is poisonous and corrosive and he pushes and pushes people until he gets them to react. I truly cannot think of a better description for someone like him.

You just don't say that I don't care what else they call each other but comparing someone to cancer is low and the fact you don't see the problem with it concerns me .

It just means sometimes it's better to cut things off entirely rather than trying superficial/short-term fixes that might not have long-term benefit.

He's been favourite to win for a while now and most people have already decided where they stand and I cannot see any being swayed by anything being said at this stage. Bear will win because he was always going to win not because of Renee comparing him to cancer or Aubrey serving him his balls on a platter

I totally agree with Renee's metaphorical dig at Bear as do an awful lot of people on here who don't like Bear. It's not hypocritical or double standards to do so if you agree with the sentiment. Some, a minority in fact, seem to think it is offensive to say what Renee said but they just so happen to be Bear fans who'd suddenly be fine with it being said if it was about whoever they didn't like.

It's not worse just because there happens to be more people on here that dislike Bear. It's just a numbers thing not a hypocritical thing.

I don't think it needed to be said. A little severe. Millions of insults out there, no need to bring up the cancer word. Fine,some people think its only a metaphor, but others are offended. Just didn't need to be said. Having said that, who is really surprised?? Renee has been throwing threats out there for ages, why should anyone be surprised she would say something so harsh??


It's something not everybody will agree on. For me, thats the same as people who joke about rape. I don't feel its is EVER a joking matter regardless, but loads of people will say to me get off your high horse its only a joke. Same with this.
