I'm in my forties thank you, which means i don't chuck a hissy fit because someone uses
the C word... I would attribute that to younger viewers in actual fact, that have been taught that anything that might remotely cause offence is out of order....

Poor Renee I really felt for her tonight.i think she has cracked up. Her choice of words were poor but it i know the saying she was trying to say, it's a known saying when you refer to someone or something that is negative to say it's the cancer in the group or room, I've Defo heard if before

Quite frankly IMO any one who supports that cretin Bear is gone beyond deluded.

Bear is a great Hm but yes he is also irritating etc I can see why people love and hate him in turn. He divides opinion but everyone has an opinion on him,a sign of a good Hm. Half the threads here every day are about him.

The most negative person in the house though is Renee herself. She is one angry, foulmouthed , aggressive woman. She cannot control her emotions or her vipers tongue,a bit sad for a middle aged woman.. She is a RTV veteran and knows the score. she started all the drama the other night with her Khloe knickers comment and then the mask lies. Then played the victim in the DR. She is a big a WUm as Bear and very below the belt and conniving with it.The woman only seems only able to verbally abuse people or cry. I don't know how she has gotten away with all the threats of violence she has made. All the ridiculous surgery shows a deep insecure side to her and Imo she has serious anger issues.

Calling someone a cancer and then lying about it is sickening behaviour, she repeated it to Aubrey later. on. She could have stated her feelings without going this low, and attacking someone's spirit and self worth is never right. Its emotional abuse. i cant stand her and imo she is the toxic one. Classic projection.

I don't like Renee but I took that to comparing cutting him out of her life as she considers him toxic to her, in the same way somebody would cut out a Cancerous tumour for their own health.

So, she was saying that she felt that he was like that to her emotionally and she would cut him off/out as you would a physical threat to your health.

Clearly there is room for offense there for anybody (and that is most people, including me) that has had Cancer or lost somebody close to Cancer. So perhaps she should have been more careful in her words.

But I understand what she was saying re the emotional effect Bear has had on that House, and especially on her well being.

Some people are emotional cancers, in my experience. Of course that isn't life threatening (unless it gets to the point of suicide) so not something I would say to somebody. A person can get away from a person causing that kind of distress whereas a person can not get away from physical Cancer, but I do understand her analogy even if i think it was a horrible thing to say.

It is not something I would personally say but it is a well known metaphor which is applied to certain situations or people re their behaviour.

I join those in this thread that have lost more close people than I care to count up (certainly need to take my socks off) including friends, my Granddad (who i helped nurse and died in my Home) and one only a few weeks ago.

I know what a hideous, horrible disease Cancer is - and i wasn't offended and can understand why she sees Bear that way. As i have also known people as emotionally exhausting, toxic and consuming as him.

P.S. I think cancer is emotionally stable enough to deal with being compared to Bear. Just.

She didn't just say he was like a cancer, she said the cancer needed to be 'cut out', so it was another violent image of excision and killing. Yet another death threat from Renee, but acceptable to the forum because it was levelled at Bear.

Can't wait to see Renee wobble off in 5th or 6th place tomorrow, leaving Bear triumphant.

No. She said something like 'dealt with the WAY some people I know would do'.

That is - she wouldn't do it, she wouldn't order it, she just wishes he would get his face filled in.

And as I've said, when witnessing his goading and baiting, I would like to see him kicked up the arse, quite seriously, myself.
