I loved Jedward

They were 10 kinds of crazy and trashed the house to ***k but they weren't ever spiteful or nasty about it.

Nothing was worse than the series where that gobshite prostitute won. That was the end of me watching the civilian one, I'll never go back. Just hope CBB isn't going down the same road

At least with that series, every show wasn't completely dominated by the villain. With this series, literally the whole show has been about Bear with everyone else as his backing group. He has completely ruined the series and the fact that he's going to win, (let's face it, it's as obvious as day following night), will make this the worst series. To say it's been a slog to watch is an understatement. But the producers won't care. They're as desperate to win as he is, which makes this series even worse.

I don't begrudge them putting in 1 of these "reality" nomarks, but three or four of them? Recipe for disaster. I'll wager Bear wouldn't have been half as insufferable if he didn't have his little shite squad to perform to for 4 weeks. Next CBB if there's 3 or 4 of these dullards going in then I'll probably give it a miss in all honesty

Same here.

I said I'd see this through to the bitter end and I will. But if (when) Bear wins, and they decide to use their new RTV gobshites formula going forward - I'm done.

Helen Wood's series was waaay better than this piece of trash.

This series has been so awful I wont even bother watching the finale. Enjoy the Bear show everyone.

I've looked at past CBB lineups and this is even from the turnouts is like a zombie plague has hit celebrity-villle. Then of course after this it's like the full holocaust.

Amazingly, I have never seen this portmanteau word before. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Unfortunately it has been one of the highest rated series in many years so I'd imagine that's all the encouragement they need to continue in the same vein

Yeah I agree. Ditch Bear, Lewis, Marnie ..... it would have been much less boring!

We could have enjoyed watching James talking about his allotment, Aubrey and Sam comparing album sales, Renee cooking mountains of pasta, Ricky refusing to do tasks (we got that anyway), Frankie talking about his really famous half sister, Saira interrogating everyone, Katie going "Wow", Biggins blaming bisexuals for all the world's ills and Grant wondering why he got selected.

tbh, that sounds more entertaining then what we've actually seen, although you don't know what the house dynamic would've been like without bear, Marnie and Lewis...

Exactly this. It's all well and good assuming but we were denied seeing anything much other that Bear and his dramatics, and the showmances.

Frankie was voted the most entertaining by his fellow housemates. We've hardly seen anything to confirm this one way or the other.
Everyone said Katie was one of the funniest housemates .... how the heck would we know? It's certainly not the perception which we were permitted to see.

The most telling is when evicted they are shown their 'best bits' and we see said 'boring' housemates laughing, larking about, having fun .... a whole heap of stuff we never get to see.

Or we could have seen the animosity grow between Sam and Renee, that would have been a good showdown. We could have seen Katie allowed to be a person and have more meltdowns. We could have seen Frankie being funny if there was time to air it with out the fauxmances. (all of that happened on the one night the didn't focus on Stephen btw)

There's so much that could have happened, real things, not contrived but we'll never know because the producers had an agenda from day 1. We don't know how much of what we were presented with was real.

I recommend TOWIE and EOTB if you like 'structured' reality shows because isn't what BB should be.

I don't think it's the worst CBB ever for me.

If we're just comparing the Channel 5 era, then CBB8, CBB11 and CBB14 were all worse for me. Don't get me wrong, it hasn't been that great, but I have enjoyed moments here and there.

I think it all comes down to chasing ratings, and ratings seem to be better when they put unhinged attention seekers in there. Perez comes to mind along with Bear. I expect January's series to have a similar character.
