That's what any self respecting broadcaster would do, but they won't, so there will be a sour taste for BB's future, even if it was that one time, people are not happy about being lied to. Even if it was just one time, how do the viewers know for a fact? How do they know that other things haven't been staged?

Like I said, a 24/7 feed next time is the only possible way to correct this.”

24/7 live feed would be great. The only draw back would probably be that for alot of the time the viewing figures would be about 15 and that would mainly be people who'd become inebriated and passed out without turning the tv off
Be ok if they just need some air time filled .
I wonder what the viewing figures for this series 12 - 1 live feed has been , some of it (alot of it) has been pretty tedious.

Blimey well someone in production is as fed up with this nonsense as some of the rest of us, and apparently ready to lose their job over it

I may watch (some of) my first show of the series tonight just to see how much cheek Emma can summon when she introduces the montage of the HMs celebrating their time in the house together (when they're all actually just bored shitless with a 'job', trapped with others they can't even stand, and can't wait to get out).

Thanks for the detail, very interesting...

Few other scenes actually, being called to say your finalists then cut, then dance scene then cut oh and happy last DR.”

Not surprised, just surprised they've let it be shown to be so obvious

I don't know how the feed has rated, but weirdly enough last nights BOTS got a series high with 800k along the 90 mins.

Maybe he means the "twitter logo" bird, if he's had lots of tweets.

Twitter (the icon is a blue bird) makes a tweeting/bleeping/pinging sound every time someone sends you a direct message. He said he was woken to a bird in the room which would suggest he was woken up by the constant sound of all the Twitter messages he was receiving, which made it sound like there was a bird in the room. declaring CBB was fake.

The "extra work" line made me believe that it's the first time they were told what to do actually.

I think they were annoyed that they needed to act out some things. I noticed that at the time, they were equally confused.

They were called to the sofas and after they said "Well done Finalists" they looked pissed off... then I think instead of saying it in the break, they said it on air.

The way I think last night was supposed to have happened:

- The one song was supposed to be shown to us, a congrats song.
- Sofa Gatherage was supposed to be aired during the break. The Waltons standard Bedroom scene was also suppose to be aired on the break as was BB talking to them.
- Ads finish... back live to the house, and the house continues as normal, Bear in the garden like he was at the end etc...

So IMO, the feed was supposed to flow from that one song to what we saw in the last 5 mins with Bear in the garden.

I think they thought the BR scene and the sofa gatherage (somehow) was not shown and was supposed to go on during the break.

Ahh I see. Yep, good point. He's done that before, during another controversial moment, he has said something similar, so I'm guessing he also meant that he was getting lots of a notifications.

We've seen the goodbye scenes on live feed before, even the BB voice giving a bit of relaxed fun chat back and forth with housemates.
The comic thing last night was BB messing up the sofa meet, the rapid switch from doom and depression in the bedroom to carefree, joyous dancing to empty house to sleep. All in the space of 15 mins. It was like a Paul McKenna show.
Making them hang around for the BBOTs cleaning & studio set up, doing the show and resetting after had killed them off.

Remember the production team in the house?
and it was laughed off.

My own view Channel 5 wanted the "brand". But didn't want the crap that's linked with the show and got C4 into a whole series of scandals. Control as much content as possible
still create controversy but on terms they can accept. Its a shadow of its former self

Any mention of going to bed, lights out, lights on again and getting out of bed fully clothed?

Didn't watch live feed last night obviously missed a huge clanger dropped by the production team. Oh dear! Someone going to be in for it.😱

All I can say is when Bear is the last one to leave the house tonight switch the light off and board the house up never to be opened again.

This series has confirmed just how much C5 have ruined the Big Brother brand from C4 used to love and enjoy watching.

Paranoia! Saying #BBUK or #CBB are scripted implies collusion from hms. If it were true the beans would have been sold to The Sun years ago.

He seems to be defending them still.

I really think if (in his series anyway), he would have exposed them. Like I said, he was treated awfully by C5, so he could have easily gotten revenge on them.”

Wouldn't a lot depend on what's in hms' contracts and the risk of being sued?

It is the final tomorrow and a live show I am sure they have to chat with them about what is happening or it would fall into chaos on the night. But are their characters scripted - No I don't believe they are - some scenes maybe suggested but you cannot hide your personality to everyone all of the time. It is a tv show I can accept some direction. If bear leaves the show and behaves like a Monk and Rennie takes holy orders and Marnie becomes a librarian then I will know it was totally scripted and they were actors.”

I did - and for more than one year.
Heck, I changed an entire morning of plans just to watch cardboard boxes argueing with each other

Does anyone else remembar a program narrated by Sadie Frost called Bedsitcom from 2003-ish?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in this thread, apologies if it has (it's getting quite long so couldn't check every post)

Chris Wright from BB 2014 tweeted the following-

"Re: the clip going round which appears to suggest big brother is scripted. We did similar on our last night. It's a tiny bit of staging 1/2"

"Something nice for the final episode, purely staged because it's impossible getting all housemates to go to bed at the same time 2/2 #CBB"

Thank you. I am asking myself if the LV last night was actually no mistake at all.

Did ya'll hear Ricky saying something like "great take guys!!" made it seem like this wasn't the first time they had done this. Situation is very sketchy.

At least this confirms one thing, there is a 0% chance we will ever get a full live feed series on C5.

I loved Bedsitcom.

I used to be a bit addicted to watching LF even if they weren't doing much. I remember staying up until after 1am during BB6 just to watch them finish doing the dishes....

Also when they where called to the bedroom by BB Aubrey said we are doing overtime for the slip ups.
