It's been scripted for years, however for C5 to balls up so royally and allow it to be broadcast on the live feed is hysterical and yet more evidence if it waere needed, that they are the most amateur TV channel in existence

I've always wondered about those 'goodnight' bits in previous series as housemates hardly ever go to bed at the same time. BB couldn't wait until they were all in bed as then they'd wake up those already asleep.

It wouldn't surprise me if they direct other stuff as well. Even if they don't it's heavily manipulated in other ways, the outside info, shit stirring, biased editing etc.

Just shows how inept they all are nowadays.

I'm not surprised really like most, they just assume we're all gullible.

If they do it in one instance, what's stopping them during others?

If bear is carrying this show and its soooo entertaining why are they staging fun?

Still at least Emma Willis will be able bring her impeccable record of 'reality TV' integrity to the other shows she moves to

Sure what we saw was them pre-recording a couple of things, but that's not an admission of scripting the show.”

It's still artificial and premeditated, its hardly reality. How can we go forward thinking any situation that occurs is genuine?

Clearly they had no decent footage from those lazy, self-entitled morons to show from yesterday.

If they just tried to do that naturally, people will be coming to bed at different times.

Just because they set this scene up, doesn't mean the entire thing is scripted! I've known ex BB housemates, they haven't ever scripted anything, asked them to say anything, or asked them to perform a certain way

Calm down folks....”

Because they're going to tell people

They may have confidentiality agreements in place.

The 'party' which lasted a mere couple of minutes.

All three of these 'scenes', including the 'goodnight' scene were an example of housemates being led from one scene to another to play out a series of actions which will be presented as spontaneous 'reality' on tomorrow night's show.”

*waiting for the other shoe to drop*
If ever any tv reality show screamed LAWSUIT and FRAUD this is it.
And if I hear anyone else bleating about how blessed they are to have been part of it, and how much they've "grown", and shining bright, happy flappy dribblepiss, I'm turning this festival of fakeness off.

Oh my, just seeing all this now....

I guess all of the people who have been talking about the growing over scripting of the show over the last couple of years was right.....

I personally think someone (or a couple of people) on the inside are deliberately having certain things leak out.

We've had housemates writing magazine columns from inside the house as well.. Sam Faiers was one. While not as bad as letting them out of the house, I don't even think that should be allowed. HMs, as per the show's premise, are supposed to be cut off from everything.

In this series Frankie also presented a piece for an Amazon fashion programme from the DR.

That's not a problem as it's presumably pretty much one-way traffic, isn't it?

A different kettle of fish to Katie Hopkins and her laptop in her private bedroom...

Yes that was a shocker indeed - and lets not forget about the Alexander O' Niell cover up and the Perez fiasco when he walked out. Nanna Julie and her daily 'hair dressing' chats. It's never really been all that is seems at all.

I'm just baffled why they broadcast live from the house when all that 'phoniness' was going on.

Exactly, and didn't LaToya Jackson have her own sleeping quarters too?

What other riders was she (or others) given?

It's bollocks - either treat them ALL the same (and that includes not editing the entire show in favour of one individual) or pack up, shut it down and piss off.

The show has become the unfunniest joke in television.

Someone will get a serious arse kicking over this.

That's the end of BB as anything other than just another faked reality show.

The dancing/party bit in the HLs looked very staged.

Yes. There have been plenty of cock ups over the years revealing the manipulation and Towie-style scripting. Remember when somewhere here spotted a show 'runner' accidentally in shot on set holding up cue cards / answers during a trial quiz? (normally they would edit this out but missed it somehow).

As to the LF filming - tweets suggest someone in the crew was very peed off that BB higher ups called all the HMs to the DR during live feed, leaving them nothing to show from the house.
My best guess is that while a squabble over that fiasco was going on, someone further down the food chain just let everything roll - so we saw the staged scenes which went out before the higher ups had noticed.

Yes it was, that bit was part of the LF stuff. That's the only bit they showed though.

WTF are we watching on feed??

I think that show was produced and edited from the home for the bewildered. I had used my sky+ and had to rewind several times and could still make no sense of what I had seen. Channel5 is the right place for the likes of boar&co. What a shambles of a channel.lol

One other thing that strikes me is that the reality show brigade would be much more willing to take orders from the producers than real "celebrities". Their whole life involves being told what to do by production teams, what to say and how to act and faking everything for the cameras.

It does show it's an unholy alliance between this type of housemate and BB and is very damaging for the brand. If the public believe CBB is fake and scripted, I'm not sure it has much of a future.

There was another "party" earlier in the week when they were suddenly all dancing when minutes before renee had been riled and was shouting and screaming. No way would someine so angry just leap up for a dance, I thought. The other thing is, every time we see housemates dancing, every one of them is up there. this doesn't happen. There will always be someone who can't be bothered, someone sitting having a rest of going out for a smoke. Its always been like that previously. I can't recall any other series where there has been such animosity and at the same time at the first sign of a tune the whole house are laughing and dancing together.
