There was another "party" earlier in the week when they were suddenly all dancing when minutes before renee had been riled and was shouting and screaming. No way would someine so angry just leap up for a dance, I thought. The other thing is, every time we see housemates dancing, every one of them is up there. this doesn't happen. There will always be someone who can't be bothered, someone sitting having a rest of going out for a smoke. Its always been like that previously. I can't recall any other series where there has been such animosity and at the same time at the first sign of a tune the whole house are laughing and dancing together.
That's the price you pay for putting a load of performing monkeys in there from the reality show circuit. To them, it's just another episode of TOWIE / Geordie Shore / Sex On The Beach (or the American equivalent) and they'll do whatever they're told to earn their fee.

Apparently not. I'm a little tempted to skip through last night and watch what they do show (like the fake party the HMs were moaning was extra work), Emma's interview, her reaction on BOTS, and Sam's singing. All the car crash moments basically.

Only a little tempted though, I might play solitaire instead

Just completely ignored it and kept on smiling. (Lets just get to the end people)

They did use some of the footage 'as real', also in the BOTS footage too I think. You know, the party where they're all having a genuinely great time and all came together for the final night that showed how close they were and loved each other.
In reality it was Stephen and Marnie sat in the lounge while the others changed clothes for the scene then the music started, they went crazy for 5 minutes and when the music stopped the all dispersed like nothing happened.

They must have all had a briefing before that scene and told to really ramp up the happiness.

I'm relatively positive they've been asked to do other scenes like that during the series because my 'fake alarm' went off a couple of times.

The clip is on Youtube if anyone wants to see it. Just type in Celebrity Big Brothrer Live Feed.

I've watched Big Brother since the very beginning. I used to watch Live Feed all of the time, and ive never seen anything like that before. Certainly the highlights shows were often edited out of context to show housemates in a particular light, but actually recoding a set up scene? Why did they need footage of them all in bed at the same time, or all together on the sofas? In the old days they would have just used what they'd got. No one needed to be guided to do anything.

They definitely were becuase in the only episode I actually watched (the Biggins one to see what the fuss was about) there was a 'party' and the dancefloor was where the sofas normally are, but in the (quite long) montage it was only ever one or two HMs dancing on there at a time and it didn't seem like the others were always in the room. I was all but it makes sense now.

Because despite all the rest of the nonsense the one thing that really would have had viewers turning off in the hundreds of thousands for good in absolute disgust, would be a missing scene of the HMs all going to bed at the same time

I think we all suspected it was faked to some degree but to see it confirmed with actual footage was another thing entirely. It's almost like if you're watching a film which is obviously fake but then you see them shout cut and it's suddenly a film set and it takes you out of it.

I know what you mean...like the end of Get Shorty (I think it was - ?) or when he finally cottons onto the truth in The Truman Show.

Yes a disgruntled ex housemate or employee of Endemol selling the show out by starting a rumour on Twitter or speaking to the press directly is one thing, that's usually how these things come about, I remember The Hills being exposed by various cast members whilst it was still being made, but for Channel 5/Endemol to actually broadcast to us the show being set up and expose themselves is definitely a first as far as I recall. Idiots.

And very damaging for the CBB brand. If people think the show is scripted and fake, it doesn't have much of a future. Letting the reality show aspect creep in and practically take over and taking it away from the original BB social experiment was a huge mistake.

I think the influx of brand new accounts this series cheering Bear in barely comprehensible posts along with the viewing figures unfortunately prove this show has a viable short-term future (they are so stupid, do production really think this lot will still be watching in ten years' time as so many have been, or for longer? )

One of the most prolific trolls openly stated it was a 'burn account' and that they'd be back next year with a different name. These are the people the new format attracts it seems, people who deliberately sign up with the intention of trolling people.

Wonderful.

Turning it into another scripted and edited reality TV show aimed at twentysomethings is a huge risk. If that audience lost interest, the show would be dead and buried as the original audience would never return.

Well not all twentysomethings - only the ones stuck in that horrible hybrid toddler mentality / narcissistic / shit/piss the bed mode.
