I'm confused why they played it out.
Surely even if the first min or so was accidental, they would have cut away, but the fact it was played uninterrupted is more confusing.

I honestly think a mistake was made and they simply forgot that the live feed was being shown on 5*.
A mix-up. I can see how this might happen on a busy night with the main show, SOTS, a bit of live feed on Channel 5,...and more live feed on 5* where somebody, due to a breakdown in communication, simply forgot about.

RE: The clip going round which appears to suggest Big Brother is scripted. We did similar on our last night. It's a tiny bit of staging 1/2

Something nice for the final episode, purely staged because it's impossible getting all housemates to go to bed at the same time. 2/2 #CBB

So it happened in BB15 too.

You make it sound so normal for it to be scripted.

The point of montages is to remind us of 'moments', memories of reality. You're making it sound as if acted out scenes are a plausible substitute for reality.
if montages are just conceits directed by BB then the content of them is meaningless in terms of reality television moments to remember.”

Some BB viewers would be happy for it to be like GS or love island that's the scary thing.

Probably done by someone out for revenge ,e.g someone who was made to work out their notice after being given their cards ..so though F-You ,I'll let everyone watching know it's all scripted shite

The scene where Bear and Marnie just started throwing the cushions at eachother was so random. It was seriously like someone had just said 'action'

You think an entire production team were not aware that they were filming live? Really? Think about that one a bit more.

They even made the effort to 'bird song' over something Aubrey said at the end of the 'goodnight' scene! So it's not as if the staff were all in the toilet or something and forgot it was running!

I actually think they're just not arsed, probably only losers like us who actually watch LF!

think that clip is just a run through of clips they put together for the last ep, the same where they have them in the DR 1 last time @bbuk

Calm down, I wasn't talking about you. I was thinking more of many people in general.
Whether it's a big deal or not is in the eye of the beholder. Most people on the WHATM thread are just mocking the show for such ineptness in hiding their deceit. It's actually quite funny to me.

I wonder if we will ever start to see something like this appear in the end credits.

Elements of the show are edited/re-shot, but will not affect the final outcome.

I agree they know etc
I was annoyed we didn't get a proper 90 mins of live feed once all that rubbish was done in that case.

What I think is that they wanted a few cute scenes for the final episode, to fit the usual mould of every season finale in which we see speeches, partying and so on from the last day. Nothing more or less.

What about the month or so of live feed we've already seen before this in which nothing of the sort has gone on?

I know that some will be unable to shake off their cognitive anchoring and will refuse to believe actual reality because it's more comfortable to believe in BB's official version of events.

We had a sequence where BB literally directed housemates from one scene to another in three consecutive scenes. Yet still some people will use the excuse that whoever witnessed it was jumping the gun and that we should accept it as perfectly normal that BB direct the housemates in scenes.”

Of course they're going to tell them to do certain things at certain times just for TVs sake. Do you think on an eviction night they all just happened to wander into the room and sit on the sofas coincidentally? Or do you think Big Brother told them all to sit there? Of course everyone knows Big Brother told them to sit there. OMG that must mean EVERYTHING is scripted!!!!

I remember as a child I went to watch Gladiators live. Remember that show? Belter it was. The first thing they did was get the contestants out and film the "Pyramid" game. This was because it was the biggest set, and they did that first. Then after that, when we'd already seen them all in action, they then filmed the "Hello everyone and welcome to Gladiators! Let's meet our contestants!" It was filmed like that just for a bit of ease, to make the show look smoother. That's all they've done.

The last show on Big Brother is always a bit of a "feel good" show, celebrating the end of the series. So they'll film a bit of this just to add on there. It's only on for about 5-10 mins anyway because they have six housemates to interview.

This is such a classic example of this forum over reacting to things as always.

If there were so many scenes set up like that...we really would have had lots of confirmation of it by now rather than tin-foil hat wearing forum members saying "I can just tell it is".

It's a Channel 5 entertainment program. Stop taking it so seriously, relax, enjoy it for what it is and have yourselves some beans on toast with a heart cut out of the middle.

It's very rare now that this "discussion forum" has any discussion on it. It's just people having an overblown rant about something that doesn't really matter that much (in the last couple of days we've had cries of "physical abuse to a woman" because Bear SQUIRTED WATER at Sam, and the usual "vile" descriptions of everyone) and so many cries of "Big Brother is ruined now, it's a joke, it's not what it used to be, I won't be watching again, it's dead, it's dying, it should be pulled off the air etc etc etc".

Tell you what...here's an idea.....if you hate it that much, STOP WATCHING, focus your attention on something positive, and let the people who enjoy watching it talk about it, without having to sift through dramatic over-reactions and the most ridiculous hyperbole. I've genuinely never seen anything so ridiculous!

This is what I mean when I say that some people see it as completely normal.
Like Luke A denying that housemates are actually given scripts. I don't know if he's being disingenuous to protect a show he's attached to, but when people say that the show is scripted I doubt that most people mean that housemates are given scripts. In this case not one person on the WHATM thread said anything about housemates having an actual physical script. But it is certainly evident that BB itself is working to a script where they want to control the flow of what reality they want to present by contriving it

I have absolutely no idea why you're angry at me.

I'm just commenting on BB based on what I've seen. Which is what the forum is for.
As Bear would say 'Just sayin'' You seem a bit tetchy, a bit angry, angry elf.
Why?

Great take guys. Unbelievable but it also explains why so many scripted reality stars and Americans are taking part. I don't think imbeciles like Chloe and Heavy could follow a script but watching that clip was like a scene from a cult movie. I know it's the last night but this shows its only BB in name and it's never really been BB on Channel 5 and it never will be. It wouldn't be 'entertaining' enough.

The fact that Bear hasn't been thrown out says it all. He's obviously in it with the producers and I'm sure he'll be getting a hefty bonus for his performances. Another nail in BB's coffin. It's hard to question what is authentic now. We've had a few quiet axings this year. Are they people who are unwilling to play the role they've been given?

There's no coming back from this for me.

Sorry, I originally started addressing you, then when I started talking about Gladiators, I forgot I was talking to just you, then started addressing the whole forum. It wasn't til after I'd posted it I remembered I'd quoted you at the beginning and then it looked like the whole thing was directed at you. Sorry, that's totally my bad! Just consider the first paragraph directed at you!

Sorry again
