Nicole is probably the only thing I'm liking about this series so far, always liked her as a judge

A lot of focus is on her image and her performance style,but behind all that is a really impressive voice with knowledge to match. Calvin Harris is a great choice !

I definitely agree, and I think Calvin Harris is a perfect choice as well. However, it's interesting how the Taylor/Rita/Calvin drama has been panning out.
1) Taylor was a regular on the show, performing as a guest on three consecutive recent seasons
2) Rita and Calvin have an extremely messy breakup
3) Calvin and Taylor begin a relationship
4) Rita joins the X Factor as a judge
5) Taylor refuses to return as a guest despite Simon's efforts
6) Rita leaves the X Factor after one season
7) Lo and behold, Calvin's back after his "pineapple debacle", now as a guest judge
8) Still no sign of Taylor

I agree. I loved Nicole's stint and couldn't believe she was binned off to make room for the return of Cheryl.

Loved Nicole's comment to Simon on Sunday when she commented on an act and stated but Simon didn't have me back on the panel that year either making reference to Cheryl or Rita possibly last year.

I think she will take no nonsense and Sharon was very quiet. Not like Mrs O at all.
Louis was just his usual self. Just waiting for Sharon and him to explode into a fit of giggles as they have done in previous series but Simon seems to be the one this year that starts the episodes of giggling off
