I spent all day yesterday thinking it was Friday and went to bed after watching BB for about ten minutes because I was really tired and it was just too hot to sit around watching tv.

So when I got up this morning, eventually remembered to look on here thinking it was all over and couldn't work out why no-one had mentioned who won. Was it THAT bad, I thought. Or that boring? LMAO!

Finally realised that yesterday was Thursday and they were all still in there. I don't know whether to be relieved that my wits have returned to me or worried about being so out of sync.

Maybe it's just the summer holiday effect.

Bear to lose!

It's all been a bit much this term

A civilian BB that was too short, back to back with a Celebrity BB that seems to have gone on too long ... and no rest period in-between , which left us all a little jaded

I gave up with it a week or two ago, although i have caught the odd live feed, this is the worst CBB ever.

Ricky, Renee or Frankie to win, the others can take a running jump.

Same for me. Sadly I think Bear will win but I hope this is CBB's lowest point and the next one will be better. If it's more of the same I really will be done with it and leave it to those who like the scripted reality shows and the trashy no marks who participate in them.

It's already over for me, I think the final nights are such a chore and I don't care who wins.

I know what you're saying.

We spend all these weeks arguing it out, getting all heated and willing our favourites to win, which they never do. And then on finals it's all so rushed, they barely get three seconds to speak about their time in there, even the winner and you get a kind of Kafkaesque moment of the utter pointlessness of it all, and within seconds of the end of the show you've forgotten who they even were and why you were watching.

I stopped watching properly several days ago, I just couldn't stand watching The Bear Show any longer. I've had it on the TV but haven't got a clue what's been going on. I hope the next series of CBB is a million times better than this one. It certainly couldn't be any worse.

Because of this awful series I think this will be the last CBB UK I will watch! I will watch the normal BB next year and hope it is not fixed because I did enjoy some of the summer series this year!

This feels like an endurance test. Maybe the social experiment is how long we'll keep watching?

That's exactly how I feel.

I think it was a big mistake for them to run them back to back.

Both civilian and 'normal' BB have been infested with reality TV bores and for the first time I haven't watched every episode. It's all become a bit tedious.

I'll just be glad when it's over.

Yeah, I wish we'd had another week of BB. It was fine, and I think the viewers should be allowed that time with just the finalists (I think they evicted one a day early this time didn't they? So yeah, a finalist CH5...not in my book).

Yep the only social experiment aspect now is on the viewers (how much manipulation and lies they will take from producers, how far they can push certain antisocial behaviour etc).

I gave up after The GC 'nah, not doing that task neither Big Brother, I wanna blow dry' CBB. This year's BB was entertaining enough mostly for the wrong reasons but had the predictable Hughie won that probably would have been it for me. As it is I may give it another go next year, but they'll be hard pushed to get so lucky with some of the casting for that kind of show again imo.

I was disappointed on launch night. Far too many unknowns (to me) in the lineup.

But it's been fun. I've managed to stick it out to finals night. Getting rid of predictable winner Biggins has helped. We've still had far too much meddling by BB with noms and info from outside the house being leaked. The 2nd house was barely used and seems to be a civilian BB thing (though they'll have to come up with a better scenario than The Others for next year).

I'm glad there is a next year, that the ratings for this series picked up, that there were big moments (the security guard, Bear's girlfriend) that got folks talking beyond the confines of the usual forums.

Similar. One of the by-products of Bear has been that the HM's have supplied enough content that BB has not had to intervene-to promote strife and conflict or just task footage which is the backstop needed if they are all quietly living in the commune getting along.

Congrats to those who hated the cretinous bear but stuck it out. I couldn't. Ive not watched this trash for 3 weeks but its been a blessing in disguise. I've truly fell in love with the olympics this summer. Its been bloody marvellous.
