BT infinity 2 connection keeps dropping 3 times a day for last 3 weeks trying to fix?

hello
My BT infinity 2 connection keeps dropping out 3 times a day for last 3 weeks trying to get BT to fix?
They said the problem might be there end but said should be fine however my connection still keeps going.
it often happens if trying or uploading videos to youtube or download something or going on to facebook.
does anyone know how I can fix this?
been really happy with bt but not for the last 3 weeks.

OK after another call they try replace my router I hope that is the problem.
its about 2 or 3 years old.

At least your broadband works, mine has been down for 10 weeks and but still can't find anything wrong.

Ours has been doing the exact same. Average 3 reboots a day for last 3 weeks.

Last time I experienced this behaviour my son was suffering same with his, but not this time.
So I'm glad to hear it's not just us! Sorry can't help with what's going on though.

I can tolerate a few reboots as long as it's coming back on quickly as it has. I'm really trying holding off phoning the offshore peeps as long as I can.

My speed is all over the place to some times just 1 to 2 meg with the yellow cable connected over times upto 70 meg but never for long.
Just hope the new router makes it go because 4 weeks ago I was really happy.

Fortunately for us we're on a banded profile, stuck on 67Mb. This is from the last time we experienced this behaviour last year. One of the reasons to not ring as can't complain of speed being an issue.
Yesterday only the one reboot.

Pretty good how quick another router came shame its not a smart one though.
but they are extra to buy.
though its now been up over night and not slowed down

so looks it might have been a bad one before.
youtube really uses up loads.
