Also Rylan is the same with every housemate in his interviews whereas Emma seems to have an agenda against some.

Rylan sits on the fence, people pleasing, he will need to be a bit more roofless if he gets the top job ?

Yes, meaning it's more about him than the housemates.

Can't stand him , anyone but him. he was not capable of controlling Bear last night, not good for an interviewer when they cannot conduct the interview properly. Wonder if Rylan's interviews are all scripted as he seems to have to read form a card or a sheet?

What on earth has Brian got to do with it, they're nothing like each other imo.

I have no doubt he'd do a great job but selfishly I would hate him to leave or part leave BOTS as I think he's fantastic on the show. For me, the main show host although important (ish), is not THAT important as over the course of a whole series the host doesn't do a great deal so I'm not that fussed.

I agree but it is important to stay impartial which Emma seems to struggle with. Rylan is consistently lenient whereas Emma will grill the housemates she doesn't personally like.

Not surprised if Emma is leaving, good for her. She should have left last year to be fair, her reputation would suffer if she stays.

So Rylan is being lined up to replace her? Was that decision made before or after the debacle of last night? Is he be taking over the reigns of a show that's about to be cancelled?

Although last night on Bots, he kept saying it was the best series yet, and the trained gibbons high on haribo's, sorry the bots audience, whooped and screamed in agreement .

Rylan is only fit to present bots, it suits his "talents". He can consistently repeat everyone's sentences to his hearts content on that show, he wouldn't be able to on the main show.

Both shows are a shambles now.

I'm thinking of giving up watching, if Rylan takes over the main presenting job and Emma leaves I'm finished with this crap show. It's lost it's spark already, if Emma goes it will be even worse!

Why is it important to stay impartial?

If a HM is a good/nice person or an asshole/bad person why can't the interviewer reflect that?

It's not the news.

Emma is way more experienced and professional than Rylan could ever be!

Because it's not for them to decide.

Imagine the interviewer loves Bear and gives him softball questions. You wouldn't want that, but that is what you risk if the interviewer is unprofessional enough to let their personal feelings invade their occupation.

Disappointing if true, but never believe anything until it is officially denied

The author of that article doesn't seem to like Rylan much.

Hope that is true! Rylan is fine on BOTS, but I wouldn't enjoy him on the main show tbh.

It's not for them to decide what?

I don't care if they give him, or anyone else, softball questions. Though if Rylan is interviewing that's all you'll ever get in all the interviews.
