I am with you on this .I have felt bad for watching this trashy show ,as it has now become !.I draw the line now watching the final ,with that halfwit and GS slapper in the Final ,prob win .I may give a vote to some others ..but if the next CBB has any of these reality pratts in ..thats me DONE ,sad as i loved BB

With the highlights and clips being either about Bear being annoying/rude or housemates reacting to Bear being annoying/rude it's no wonder people have left in droves. There's only so much you can say on the subject and it was all said in the first week. There's also been far too much trolling.
Mind you I haven't been a regular viewer for years.

It is important to remember that there are only a few Bear supporters. I would guess that they are outnumbered 10/1.

They constantly have to deal with 'You like him = you must be like him.'

Even in this very thread they have been blamed and baited.

It's not always very easy to see that - especially when you dislike Bear.

I think it's just been an awful series for everyone apart from the bear fans both real and trolls. I sincerely hope something changes dramatically between now and the end of the year.

People who pointed out that Bear should watch himself after the show, because of how he behaves were called thugs ffs.

If anything, I've seen posters who don't like Bear, calmly pointing out some glaring inconsistencies in what they consider to be reasonable behaviour and being told utter claptrap in response.

There's no reasoning, debating or discussing with people who are that entrenched. The ones whose support of Bear bordered on idolatry had the gall to go around telling everyone else it was they who were obsessed

Liking your favourite is fine, I have no problem with that. But acting as though your favourite can do no wrong, and littering every thread with 'King Bear to Win' is bollocks IMO

Its a representation of the naturally decline in the size of the audience for BB, i remember when i first came online i actually posted on FOUR BB forums at the same time, been a long time since i posted anywhere but here. At its height DS used to crash the entire DS site on final nights quite regularly, those days are of course long gone. I have stayed the course and have no plan to quit DS, but that is entirely because of the people on it and not those on BB. BB may one day come to a complete end but i am sure DS will outlast it.

Summed up well, it's the inevitability of the result of this now NON reality, heavy scripted/edited show. The Bear supporters are just like their idol judging by their contributions to this board so it makes sense why they would support the idiot.

You have echoed my thoughts exactly, and your posts and threads have been great.

I only started posting on the BB threads at the beginning of the civilian series this year, and most of the comments were pleasant and fun, but some of personal and vile comments that i have seen recently have made me think twice about posting at times, which is not in the spirit of the forum.

Make a comment about "the good old days" and you're called ancient, stuck in your ways and are told to move on and live with the changes, but what is wrong with a bit of comparison to how the programme used to be.

We are all entitled to post comments about whatever or whoever we choose to, but, as you say, the fun has gone-hopefully it will return in the future.

Don't base your opinions of this forum on a few trolls - don't allow them to spoil your enjoyment of the place. At times you will literally cry laughing on here - and in a good way

As others have said, there are some quality posters knocking around (you're not so bad yourself as it goes ) and the forum is more a reflection of them than the arseholes

I agree, it's ridiculous. I suspect people have left the forum because of Bear, not his supporters. There are always supporters who are more vocal than others but it has never driven anyone away from what I have seen.
