Same, it's just frustration they can't get their own way so all the toys are coming out of the pram. The show's premise is based on nomination and then the public decides, same as always.

This time though, they're so frustrated that they want to override the process to get the person they don't like out. Trouble is, not everyone feels the same way and they can't accept it.

There are always going to be posters who post 'King Bear to win' and not much else. There is a self-proclaimed WUM on here who can be funny at times. Put these people on ignore if you don't consider they have anything of worth to say and especially if they annoy you. I don't know why people don't make more of the ignore function.

There are also some decent Bear supporters.

But I'm afraid the first part of your post reads like you are not looking at the big picture. There is a huge anti-Bear bias on this board - I can understand that. But to suggest the only unreasonable posting comes from Bear fans, and that the anti-Bear posts are calm and reasoned is really stretching the imagination!

Is it any quieter than usual? I dunno - I tend to just focus on a few threads on the first page and pay little heed to what's going on around me. I never really notice if it's particularly busy or quiet.

Have to say I'm not feeling it. Kept missing episodes because it just wasn't gripping me and I'm only seeing it out out of curiosity.

I loved BB17 - I was genuinely very excited about that final. Embarrassingly so. Mind you, I always did prefer civilian BB.

Tonight I'm more deflated than elated. But that's probably less crazy. No one should get as excited by a BB final as I did.

The way this aggresive minority characterise anyone who says a good word about Bear as a Troll and an arsehole dosnt make for a pleasant atmosphere on the forum.

I can only base what I've said on my own experiences of this board. l probably only read about 20% of the threads posted and actually post in about half of those.

What I said wasn't scientific but I can assure you that it's what I saw.

I spent a few nights on here sticking up for Chloe, which wasn't a popular stance but it was how I felt. I didn't go sticking the boot in to everyone who disagreed with me - that's ridiculous.

I also didn't pretend that everything Chloe did was okay, because it wasn't and that's equally ridiculous.

Like I said, support is fine but the cultish bullshit works my last nerve and it's that element that I have a problem with.

There's always a lot of moaning about manipulation which usually I agree with, however there is so much this series that it all blurs into one big fat negative thread. I'm not at all saying that this negativity isn't justified - what I am saying is that in the past, there were more lighthearted threads and discussions to balance it out a bit. Not seen much of that this year.

Well yes you are right essentially, but even if you do ignore certain people I assume you still end up seeing everybody else reacting to their posts even if you can't read them yourself. It's not really that simple, they still have an effect on the board and threads in general.

That's how it should work IF the public decide but it didn't and they don't.

This is the worst CBB ever. I usually watch every episode (gaveup on ordinary BB years ago) but have hardly watched any off it. The contestants are awful, its been ruined by the Towie by the Shore on the Beach people. Bear is just embarassing for a grown man.

I too have stuck it out and stuck it out, but I turned off halfway through last night. Am I gonna watch the final ... nah. The moron will win and that about says it all about this terrible, terrible series - possibly the 2nd worst one I've ever watched (the Helen Wood series was still worse than this, IMO) Real shame after such a cracking civvie BB this time.
