How many rooms does she have?? 3? I know she used to live there with Peter and Simon but why 3 rooms? There's Leanne's room, Simons room and Eva's. It seems like such a pokey flat to have 3 rooms!!

Seems reasonable compared to Eileen's tardis!

Corrie houses are so unbelievable, rooms magically appear.

she didn't live there with Peter and Simon, they lived above the bookies where Ann, Gary and Faye now live

Leanne now lives above the kebab shop

Coincidentally isn't Leanne also now living in Janice's old flat? I'm sure she lived there with Trev the binman at one point?

Janice's old flat would have been above the community centre.

You're thinking of Beth Tinker.

I'm sure it only had two rooms when Michelle and Ryan lived there because Rob had to sleep on the couch when he arrived...

What makes it awkward is that we generally only see the flat from one angle - facing the kitchen area. I don't think we've ever had a good look off to the side of the flat to see how many doors there are as to how many bedrooms the flat has.

I still can't get over the fact that the Rovers' bogs appear to be in the Balows' kitchen.

What's even more peculiar about Leanne's flat is that when Martin Platt lived there, the layout was completely different...and we're talking very different (WARNING: cringeworthy acting ). It was so different that in the intervening years, the entire flat somehow managed to flip 180° so that everything, including the staircase, is now on the other side of the room to the way it was.

Interestingly, the weirdly positioned sink managed to survive the move.

The worst has to be the flat above the salon containing open plan living room and kitchen, bathroom and THREE bedrooms. Not to mention there is supposed to be ANOTHER flat next door (above the cab office)! When you see the building from the outside that's just completely impossible.

Absolutely, ste. The same goes for the bookies, which also has another flat magically stuffed up there (where Steph and Andy live).

There was a period in the early 2000s when the Corrie production team must've thought they had a housing crisis on their hands and all of these previously unmentioned flats suddenly appeared from nowhere. Every character needed a place to live so a flat was created for them out of nowhere.

When I went on one of the many Corrie tours last year the door to Andy & Steph's flat led straight into Preston's Petals!

Even going up the builders yard steps (where Tina was pushed over the edge) I could see the door where she came out to argue with Rob and there's no way on Earth those two flats could co-exist even if they built the set to full scale.

Edit: the flat has been of a similar lay out since Michelle was living there https://youtu.be/XNucJXXbXO8

Which is silly when they had those unused houses/flats next to Roys Rolls/the butcher's... which went unacknowledged for years.

Wasn't Janice Battersby's front door around the corner, opposite Victoria Court?

Steph and Andy live above the builders yard. Not above the bookies or florists as it is now

Leanne's flat was a right pokey hole when Michelle lived there. Now it's magically expanded and is quite nice. Janice Battersby's flat was a tatty dump.

Has anyone worked out how the stairs work in Anna's flat? On the outside they seem to be on the right of the flower shop. On the inside, above the flower shop they seem to be on the left.

It always struck me they were on the right of the interior set too.

Appears to have been that way even when Sarah and Todd lived there many years ago.

Having said that the layout doesn't make sense: http://tlc-charity.com/wp-content/up...1/P1080087.jpg because I assume the door we can see on the right hand side is one bedroom; am pretty sure there's another (out of view) and then behind the entrance to the flat is the bathroom?

Would be impossible if the interior matched the exterior... although they'd be falling down outside the Medical Centre, haha.

I am just looking on pics of the new set. I think Marias would be big enough for three bedrooms. I think the too big windows along the side are Marias and then you can see the L shaped bit in between sallys and the hairdressers is where her entrance is.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...-location.html

I never realised that streetcars was on the other side but the flat above has Just the one window (seen on an older pic) and of course street cars is not massive! given its less than half the size of maria and has two bedrooms, marias having three is no stretch 🙊

edit.. here is the puc I refer to http://coronationstreetupdates.blogs...orrie-map.html

also shows the flat at the builders yard which is behind the bookies and almost opp roys rolls
