BB Is The Real Winner
BB were not happy that Jason won and so to balance that out, they did whatever they could to get the winner they want. They choose one HM to completely dominate the show. only show him in the HLs and nobody else, refuse to remove them from the house after countless warnings, promote him on BOTS, (etc). I could go on.
And it worked. The producers will be rubbing their hands together and cracking open the champagne. I really hope they're satisfied. |

BB Is The Real Winner
I don't think so. More and more people are annoyed with them.

In all honesty, I really don't think BB care who wins. I've never felt they were in any way angry over Jason winning.

They were indeed the winners. I said before it would be an empty victory as Bear was just their puppet but I don't think it was to do with BB17 or Jason. Just an opportunity to promote EOTB. |

A few months out the bear/Chloe marnie/Lewis showmances in the press keeping the show in the papers Ex on the beach is on just now with bear, he is being allowed to dominate that too , then Geordie shore will be back again, then it's nearly Xmas then it's time for celeb BB again the whole process repeats again with more from the above |

Jason's path to victory was assisted by the producers' Annihilation Week taking out the favourite.
They can hardly be unhappy at something they encouraged to happen. |

It was dig after dig after dig for Jason during the last two weeks of the series. And on BOTS after the final, there was the distinct impression that they weren't happy that he won, that it shouldn't have been him. |

I don't agree. On BOTS, straight after the show where he evicted Lateysha, Jason was made out to be the devil incarnate for doing so. Since then, BB did whatever they could to break him down. It culminated in the courtroom task where they brought back Charlie, Lateysha and Ryan; all three of them having well-known dislikes for him for different reasons and they continued digging away at him in the task - Charlie in particular seemed to mainly use her reappearance to slate Jason to his face as much as she possibly could, when she should have been there to defend Jayne, or whoever it was in the task.

And on BOTS after the final, there was the distinct impression that they weren't happy that he won, that it shouldn't have been him. Also just one of many other things that could be mentioned was that Chelsea defended Jason in the courtroom task and it wasn't shown at all, only his entrance. I think they heavily miscalculated that, with the very slim possibility of Lateysha or Hughie going it wouldn't matter as they still had the 'other' winner in there. |

I believe that because they weren't happy that Jason won, they did whatever they could in this CBB to have the winner they wanted. It even went as far as not removing Bear even after he had several formal warnings, when they've removed others who have had several formal warnings in the past!As I said in my OP, they will be feeling very pleased with themselves. |

It's been an awful year for CBB. Scotty T and Bear winning. Gawd. It will take a hell of a lot for me to watch again. Think I will skip January for sure.

![]() I need to keep reminding myself of that, because otherwise I'll skip Jan CBB TOWIE Shore rubbish and tune in again in hope of something similar next summer, when no doubt they'll have moved it ever closer to the Lateysha/Ryan/etc model. Except this time they won't even entertain the possibility of letting someone like Jason to the final. |

It has indeed. Luckily it was a fantastic year for BB proper (however laughably rubbish it was with its pathetic second house, 'whole new show' lies, etc etc) with Jason who had been terrorised all series and - most importantly - Cleo winning. The ultimate two fingers up to the producers (I gather myself that there are two very distinct 'markets' for BB and CBB now which only partly overlap)

Except this time they won't even entertain the possibility of letting someone like Jason to the final. This year saw a two fingered salute to BB in the civvy series, and an expression of power and the direction they WANT in the CBB series. They DON'T WANT thoughtful viewers, they want the Geordie ex on the beach demographic, the twatters and the ads. And they are determined to get it. It won't be worth watching anymore. The celebs won't do it, more reality crossovers in BOTH and the whole thing becomes 'reality'. CBB wins, by destroying what it was and any serious interest in it. |
