You're supposed to love your mother though.

Sorry, just bemused by the number of similar posts about Bear loving his mother, like it's something noteworthy, instead of being... normal.

A really sweet, genuine moment where Bear showed he's really not all bad. Bear haters would still manage to say something negative about it i'm sure.

I don't see many topics about Bear loving his mum. I do see quite a few though questioning her and accusing her of being a bad parent. Hell even this topic is one of them.

People just can't seem to accept that Bear gets on a lot better with his mum and parents when he isn't hamming things up for the cameras.

It was always an unspoken rule on DS that parents/family were exempt from being commented on. The HM's are fair game, they put themselves into that position by agreeing to appear on BB. Their family didn't, so it's somewhat disrespectful commenting on them when they have no comeback to comments, nasty or otherwise.

Poor woman having to put up with Bear and Bear Senior. Bear Senior had to be removed from the studios last night. Looks like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

years of his pranks have taken their toll, he probably deletes her favourite programmes off of her Sky for a laugh, accidentally turns the taps on when she is washing her hair, plays his drum kit at full volume at 3am, sticks her in a shoping trolley and speedily pushes her around the garden for kicks

No wonder his mum is a bag of nerves.

poor cow, she has three morons to deal with

funny how Bear used to take the piss out James "the bald eagle"

also I think Bear's breaking off eggs may be a deep lying hatred of his egghead father

Could be. Might explain the childish behaviour.

There some deep rooted problems going on in the family for sure.

Surely if she had agoraphobia his dad would have gone on BBBOTS as there is no way they would have even got her to the studio let alone on live tv.

If no one else has pointed this out - I can't be bothered to look - it's 'depressive', an anti - depressant is a drug.

However ........ I think she was just embarrassed to be honest.

From what Bear said she reminded me of the issues I have, so I'd say yes.

Can this forum get any lower.

Good god. Poor woman looks like a terrified little mouse. When the dad was pictured having his picture taken with Chloe I got the vibe of someone who might have been quite the pig in the home that rules it with an iron rod and had a twisted, leery mysogynistic air about him, but I thought his parents had split.

Looking at these photos, her broken and frightened demeanor, his arrogant self entitlement and flashes of violence towards her and others (probably quite handy with his fists, that one), and Bears ****ed up psychology as a 26 yr old man that has turned him into a deranged malignant narcissist forever trapped within the mentality of a 3 year old boy, and it all begins to explain itself. If the dad still hasn't got his shit together at his age and is kicking off at people inside a TV studio and threatening folks, well, there is no hope for a turnaround regarding Bear, is there?

his Dad probably only got to the end of the street before he got the hump with someone and had a barney, his Mum had to be sent as a substitute

Didn't Bear say something like she only goes out on Mother's day?

I took it to mean she doesn't go out as she had no money to go out and that's why he was going to treat her

I bet the old man also allows her down the shops to get his tea as well, she'd better be back sharpish mind

I wouldn't want to comment about his mother - would simply be unfair. However have no qualms in saying his father's demeanour and behaviour speaks volumes about Bear's possible history and how this may well relate to his behaviour. Very sad.

The mother looks like a nice woman. The father on the other hand looks as though he's the block from which Bear was chipped and that he's dying to join his son in his laddish moment in the spotlight.

Poor woman indeed. You can see where Steven got his knack for ruining other people's day. It's learnt behaviour.

Totally agree with both posts . The mother seems nice , probably just constantly walking on eggshells living with Bore and the crazy dad .
Bore is the image of his dad and has that same thing going on where he tilts his head back and appears to be looking down his nose at them when speaking to people . Lacking eye contact too , like bear . Strange father and son .

I do have to wonder if this was set up as part of their new family show. If indeed it is happening.

Just reviewed the interview, I think Bears mother is frightened for him. I would be too.
