Big Brother's live feed clip appears to show that it may be scripted.
I think we have all been had!

FGS YES, the housemates can hear their crowd reactions for a start, producers do anything in their power to get their own way AKA manipulative edits twists ETC to save their chosen one for that year, THIS SHOW IS GARBAGE

Was that "take" even shown tonight. I wondered if it was a wind up, but either way, no OP it's not scripted.

We saw what looked like a set up take for a montage but there's no way the show is scripted, unless you think they go home and just film 48 minutes of arguing and other scenes then fo hone.

The interviews we just watched would all have to be scripted, it'd be preposterous.

Not scripted no. But I have come round to the idea that it is likely to have been storyboarded. For years I have posted on here sayng - "Why would they?" "What difference does it make to Endemol, C5 or whoever who he winner is?" " Why take the risk of running the gauntlet with the public/regulator/betting industryunless there is something to be gained?, etc.,etc.

But sadly I have come to the conclusion that we are no longer watching natural interactions or people reacting naturally to a stressful situation.

Scripted goes a step too far for me but I do believe it is manipulated to the point it is no longer 'reality'. Which is why I stopped watching a week ago. I see bear won - quelle surprise. My flabber has never been less gasted.

Channel 5 always maintained they were going to move towards other reality tv with BB from the day they took it on. The evidence has been clear from then. The acting is as shocking as other reality tv shows too, lol!
