I aways thought I disliked WUMs because I couldn't stand James Jordan (the Brad Pitt of ballroom dancing) but I liked Marc (and Joel), kind of liked Perez, and had a love/dislike relationship with Hughie (preferred Jason & Andy). Hmm, I guess I like non-malicious (imo) WUMs. James Jordan seemed kind of malicious (can't remember any specifics but there was something that rubbed me wrong). Helen wasn't a WUM....regardless, I couldn't stand her. I don't hate any of the HMs (hate is too strong a word to use for contestants on a show)....but I seriously disliked Helen.
sorry for rambling but I just realized that I have a soft spot for some WUMs (as long as I don't perceive them to be bullies or getting too personal with people) and I was fine with James Jordan but that was because I didn't think he was actually mean but more that he was just trying so hard to be a WUM however he wasn't that good at it. Perez made me laugh so that is a plus but Marc was a real all rounder. If only we had VTS for him ![]() Love hate with Hughie too but really liked Andy and was thrilled Jason won. I like WUMS too but not Bear

I like every HM you liked except Bear. I probably liked Perez more than you because no one liked him as much as I did

I do like it when specific examples are used to back up opinions but it all still comes down to personal perception I remember FM EnricoV (I think....sorry if this is the wrong FM) did a great transcript of Perez that showed how Perez was in the right and the guy who got kicked out was in the wrong. Ack, don't quote me because I don't trust my recall/memory. Excluding your dislike of Bear ( ), you have great tastes

But onBots, Rylan asked him what he intended doing now he had won, and Bear said,
''Treat the family'' (Giving a definite impression to me that he thought he'd won some dosh) Marnie used to say, ''We're all lucky to be here'' etc, as though she too, was thinking they were all in ''Civilian'' |

He should have entered the civilian show. He would be a lot richer now.
Come to think of it - in 'Bear World' he probably thought he did enter the civilian show. |

I like Bear, he was my winner, but of course I recognise that he's not the sharpest tool in the shed.
I was watching BOTS with my husband and we both agreed that Bear seemed to think he had more money than he'd originally thought coming to him. He was acting as if he'd won the civilian £100k. Anyone else think this? |

My first thought was that he was mistaken in thinking he wins a cash prize and then I realised why he might be expecting shed loads of money...... Mr. Super Confident clearly put a bet on himself to win! Not sure what the odds were at the start of the programme, but as most of us had never heard of him I am guessing they were good odds. He might even have borrowed his £12k fee and lumped it all on himself!!!
Dubai in August is the worst idea - temps of 50c at midday. He might as well save money and go to Ibiza. |

You're right of course - that must be why MTV wanted him on Ex on the Beach this year and in 2015.

Oh PLEASE. It's not rocket science. He's going to make a fortune through interviews and personal appearances.

of course he will treat his family he has an agent and is fully aware that as a housemate on a popular tv show he would be earning good money after the final , he told Chloe to pack a bikini as they were going to Dubai , obviously the holiday is a freeby in exchange for exclusive photographs and stories , wonder how long their relationship lasts , good luck to them both

My goodness!
It's a tv show! It is nothing like a national election. This isn't politics. Whoever wins the show will not need to make decisions which will effect the whole country. Bear is the most popular housemate and therefore deserves his win.

surely, he must have got some compensation from BB for spitgate (apart from probably promising him good edits to secure win!). thought that was really very irresponsible for BB to letting him eat it.

I wonder if they get bonuses like a lot of American reality shows give to cast members who cause fights and drama. (Like the Real Housewives, Batchellors, etc)
Either way IMO he was just being Bear with his winners reactions, sticking it to the housemates and to the "Get Bear Out" chanters in the crowd that he'd won with his usual "positive" bravado. (Good for him!) |

They wanted him for a show tthat has an audience of 97..000 (according to Barb). He's hardly starring in programmes with record breaking viewing numbers is he?

It is a bit crazy that the normal Big Brother has a £100,000 prize and yet some of the celebrities on this show got a lot lower than £100,000.
