I agree with you.
Any other TV show when a celebrity guest lets slip with an offensive word then it's a quick apology and they move on. A bit embarrassing, but no one died.
Usually the worst that can happen is like with Ron Atkinson when off camera he made a racist comment (No one really understands why, because his actions up to that point would suggest that he wasn't racist), or Carole Thatcher when in the Green Room she revealed a depiction of her true feelings where black people are concerened.
But on this show though it's ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I can understand how somebody MIGHT be offended by one or two of Biggins comments, but I really don't understand why BB are overreacting.
And if this is mainly about Biggins' concentration camp joke which wasn't even aired then it beggars belief. Yes, I can still see how it's plausible how someone MIGHT be offended, but really, come on now. It doesn't mean that BB need to treat him as though he's actually committed a truly disgusting crime on a Jimmy Saville level.
It really makes me question what the people are like who run this show.
And I say this as someone who doesn't particularly like Biggins and couldn't stand him on IAC.
