Stephen Bear = Eternal Nomination. Helen Wood = Immunity Pass to Final
Two obnoxious individuals that shocked most us of by walking away winners but I get it now, it's BB laughing at us isn't it..........They've got the winner before it's even started and us idiots watching just don't know it!
I've had enough now, it's staged and scripted to play out just as the production company want. Can't believe I've wasted so much time watching and getting annoyed with it all, furious at myself. ![]()

Jale was given eternal nomination and that didn't work for her.
Vote to evict obviously made a difference there. |

Manipulated, rather than scripted. That's always been the case.
And the edit is done to create an improvised soap opera. Housemates have roles to play and only material that fits the designated role is included. |

Yeah, great conspiracy. The two are completely incomparable. All anyone had to do was pick up a phone and vote for the other person and he'd have been out. Don't be mad that you didn't follow through with your dislike.

Helen got the immunity pass from Pauline - how was that scripted?
Pauline was evicted very early on so she wasnt rewarded for 'playing along with the producers.' |

Pauline was evicted very early on so she wasnt rewarded for 'playing along with the producers.' When asked who to choose she rather sheepishly said something very similar to 'you're not going to like this but...Helen' (a woman she'd barely had a chance to hold a conversation with by that point). Why wouldn't BB like it? I can't think of a single reason. Imo she wasn't talking to them, she was talking to the viewers, as she knew full well who Wood was and the football was about to start - that was the big publicity 'storm' for that series. BB would have loved her for it, she wouldn't have basically apologised when she did it. Alright she didn't last long but it's not a huge leap to think she was 'encouraged' in some way (from some extra cooking ingredients to a nice wad in the back pocket) - I'd call it more of a tiptoe forward. |

Yes, two nasty people that BB did whatever they could to keep in the house.
They had this series as Bear and the rest of the HMs as the back-up cast. They weren't interested in anyone else. He had several formal warnings, but they didn't want to remove him because they loved him and wanted him to win. Similarly with Helen, they wanted to keep her in because of the headlines she was creating. She too had several formal warnings but they kept her in. It's worth noting that Jale had an eternal nomination so she was up for eviction every single week. At one point, they actually took this away from her at one week. So the fair thing to do would be to remove Helen being immune from nominations for one week as well. But did they do that? No. Would they have done so if it had been a quieter HM that we didn't see a lot of? Yes, I honestly believe that they would. Which says it all. |

Didn't they do that to Ashleigh (sp?) - not that she was quiet etc, just a challenge to Helen. Didn't the public make her Power Housemate with some kind of power that in the end she wasn't given?

Yes - I agree. I'd say well managed rather than 'scripted' - otherwise all of the housemates/ "celebrities" (if you can call them that), would have to be in on it!! From what I remember - both Bear AND Helen Wood had their fate determined by other housemates - so ANYONE could've been up - not necessarily these two. All the same - BB is not the same show as it once set out to be. I did find Bear entertaining - but please - NO More showmances - they're a load of b#ll*#%s!!
