I wouldn't want her back in Corrie either Multimedia, simply because that would be a huge backward step!!
She has work lining up at the moment, seemingly part of the reason for her split with Giovanni & I would like to see her push on to far better & more fulfilling roles than the rather dull Katy Armstrong!!
She also has her modelling & as you say she fitted in very well doing TV work so all in all I think a return to Corrie is unlikely & unnecessary at the moment!!

I agree! I can't see why people have such a problem with it. What do they expect? That she should stay with the first person she dated, even if she finds out that she doesn't really have much in common with him or enjoy being with him once she has got to know him? Or that she and he just aren't a good match? Or that he is not a pleasant person? Or she has fallen out of love with him? Men rarely get this stick (they only tend to get it when they are approaching older age and are losing their looks - then they start getting the 'better settle down with someone that can nurse you, your getting a bit old for that malarkey' comments and look a bit daft now (George Clooney and Leo dicaprio are examples of this!).

I eould like to bet you were one of those who said she would sink without trace after Corrie & never get work apart from eating kangaroo bo**ocks in the jungle?

Now you've been proved wrong by the fact she's actually doing rather welll for herself & you blame it on the state of British theatre!!!!

Have you any idea how pathetic that makes you look??”

Not at all actually

So i haven't been proved wrong and I have been made to look pathetic. And i didn't say or claim that her success means she is the reason for the state of british theatre, when its been in a decline for a few years know. Long before she was even in corrie.

As for any offocial confirmation of yheir relationship it was weeks later & it was Giovanni who let it slip not her!!
IF the stories behind the break up (never spoken about directly by Georgia) were true then she teated her ex with considerably more considetation than he deserved!! I'm not saying they were or they weren't as I don't know the facts any more than you do but ffs if Georgia May Foote is a 'tramp' I dread to think what that makes some of our 'celebrity' ladies!!!”

Blimey Debbie you really like her don't you.....

She DID dump Sean for Gio. Simples.

Ok in this case I apologise to you!!
It's just annoying to me as somene who saw Georgia & her talent in a whole new light during Strictly as I always believed she was never really given a chance in Corrie to prove whether or not she could act & she proved, through the medium of dance that she was actually rather good at conveying emotion!!
You must remember all those who did say after Corrie & before Strictly that she would amount to nothing & never be heard of again apart from I'm a Celeb etc so it irked me that people can't even give her credit when she is getting work!!
However I fully accept it was wrong of me to assume you were one of those people & I retract the 'pathetic' comment!!
Put it down to me still being bloody annoyed by that troll with the 'tramp' comment!!

None of us who you keep having a go made the tramp comment

I don't think she is a tramp but i don't like her much. She did ditch her beloved boyfriend for Go. Sean was in the audience every week so they were def still together right till the end of SCD.
I also think she is a terrible actress. She is only doing well in theatre because she is a good dancer.

I never said she didn't!! I did however say she didn't 'dump him publicly then splash her new love all over social media' as you stated trying to discredit her!!
What I also said to Mr Troll earlier was neither he, you nor me knows the full circumstances behind the break up and there's plenty to suggest it wasn't anywhere near as simple as her just 'dumping Sean for Gio!!'
That is somerhing I believe very strongly & will continue to believe until someone proves different!!
And yes, what I saw of her character on Strictly & since I liked very much & anyone further removed from the label of 'a tramp' I find it hard to imagine!! And that is allowing for the fact I accept some people don't like her that much!!

Yep, it's why I rarely post here anymore. Female characters constantly being called slags and skanks is called a "joke", along with the mutton comments. Now actresses are getting it. It's pretty depressing here.

A woman broke up with someone for someone else. It happens. People shouldn't stay with someone, if they have feelings for another. Unfortunately, women do it and we're "tramps". Ridiculous.

Fair enough it's your prerogative to dislike her or her acting & to the best of my knowledge I haven't attributed the 'tramp' comment to you personally though to be fair I had a go at you for defending it, which I don't regret!!
As I stated in the post you are replying to here I can't/won't judge her as an actress purely on Corrie as she was never really given the chance to prove herself & was acting opposite two of the worst characters on the show at the time in Chesney & that awful nuRyan character!! From what I did see she was neither the best nor the worst on the show!!
When/if she has been given good/terrible reviews for her parts in BaT or the RHS then
maybe we can go back to having a debate on her acting skills!!
I have answered the Sean thing in my post above!!

You say that she dumped Sean, which in itself hasn't been prove as true.
But, can I ask you if you believe there to be any truth in newspaper articles such as these from the time? Do you factor that account when thinking of Georgia and the breakup?

True and when older men are seen with young women, other men look upon them admiringly.
