Probably not a lot of pubs like that in Kent, but loads in South London, I know I was born and used to live there.
I spent many an evening in The Gin Palace in Old Kent Road so I'm no stranger to witnessing a bit of bare knuckle boxing
Not so common in the Tunbridge Wells area doncha know?

The FM wanted to know if there was any goss about the after show party so I was giving her some. Why that has got you jumping down my throat, I have no idea.

But nice defense that it's ok to be a pissed up bully as it's perfectly normal - well maybe in your circles but certainly not in mine it isn't
Nope, you've got me wrong.

Discuss another time.....hopefully

Well this is strange, I used to drink in the Gin palace, Thomas A becket amongst other pubs down the old Kent road and now live just outside Eastbourne.

Perhaps they all died laughing at his hilarious antics last night.
At least that'll clean up the gene pool somewhat.

You're the second DSer this week who used to drink in the same places as me back in the day. Just think, we could have all been partying and paraletic in the same pub at the same time and now we're at home Saturday in our PJ's night talking crap about reality tv

So sad aren't we, it's a small world.

I do miss shopping down the, Walworth road, east lane and Elephant and castle, but don't regret moving away, not the same place as it once was, sadly.

Lol, Lee to be honest it's the real world now so like any coward the moron will be cowering in some hotel room saying it was only "BANTZ". If not, and he hasn't learnt anything from this experience (which I highly doubt!) he will soon be found/seen on an episode of 24hrs in A&E and he won't be starring.

I thought we might see a switch in the post win interview, I saw a bit of an interview he did this morning and I think that's just who he is sadly.

He's got a lot more exposure now so he'll have to be a bit careful otherwise you might be right.

Wasn't he though? I felt like one of the HMs not being able to deal with Stephen because heaven forbid you offend a troll!

There were a few of them just filling up threads with nonsense and dragging every single thread off topic.

Very frustrating.

I agree. Absolutely no problem with people supporting Bear and being able to discuss and rationalise. However, the odd FM who just kept posting 'Bear rools get over it haterz' that sort of thing - bore off

It's difficult on this forum when most people really don't like the HM I like.
This series has been difficult on here for me because I liked Bear. Last series (civilian) was easier (less negative for me on here) since I liked all the finalists except I was iffy on Jackson (not a favorite of mine but nothing horrible) and had a love/dislike relationship with Hughie. It was nice because there were a lot of Andy and Jason supporters so I didn't feel like I had to constantly defend my reason for liking someone. The Perez year was also hard because he got a lot of hate but at least there was some support here (more than this year for Bear).

I do realize that I'm not going to change anyone's opinion on a HM but it's difficult to engage in discussion when someone asks for specific examples to back up an opinion then gets figuratively yelled at (sorry, poor grammar). Some else had posted something about "what did Bear actually do to Renee" and no one could give specific examples and the thread wasn't productive imo since no specific examples were given.

Anyway the series is over and I'm just here to see if there is any after party gossip then I'm gone till the next series. I'm happy Bear won and I hope that doesn't come across as gloating. Next series I probably won't be lucky enough to favor a winner (in other words, my favorite HM probably won't win)

Hmmm I'm not sure which option to go for.
There was a lot of celebrating on the forum last night and earlier today, but CBB is over now. We've nothing to be bitter about, so we can happily move on.

Bear haters will take longer to talk it out and come to terms with the fact Bear won. It's understandable that you're all emotional and upset.

Well you've posted more than 5 words which is a good start Often the trolls would make antagonising little comments and keep winding things up.

There was a difference between his fans and trolls and I think people got so fed up with Stephen, his behaviour, the show, the producers and pretty much everything that it was just ridiculous.
I responded in the thread you mentioned. The guy was asking for specifics when just Stephen's daily constant behaviour was the answer. I wasn't going to trawl through the early shows to pick out a particular incident. Just him doing what he does was the reason for pretty much everything and that's all we were shown.

Bear haters also lost someone, though, didn't they?

A guy who bragged about not even watching the programme, but started several anti-Bear threads per day. His name began with a 'd'.

No but I'm not emotional or upset. It is what it is, a repugnant person who terrorised the house won. I'm not emotional about it, I'm surprised it was allowed to happen. I would hope that common decency would have got him thrown out or he'd actually be a human being and show some remorse or compassion.
I find it difficult to be angry with someone like that, it's more disbelief and resignation that this was a structured event in the guise of a reality show because what we saw this summer wasn't reality, that behaviour doesn't work in the real world, there are consequences, consequences the producers weren't going to administer.

I lost a lot of faith this year, more so than any other year. I'm not holding my breath for the future of BB.

i think the problem was that it wasn't that Bear was any good it was just that most of the others were so bad. as soon as people, Saira, Sam and the Americans, start talking about ''being real'' you absolutely know that they're not if they are so aware of it. yet again the potentially interesting people, Biggins and James either went too soon or were drowned out by the younger people who just don't keep my interest that much.
