Well whatever floats your boat." fascinating and entertaining he most certainly wasn't"

I like my BB contestants to be multi dimensional and not a constant, arse numbing WUM.

Glad you actually acknowledge he wasn't nice. Although that for me, is the understatement of this whole series.

Don't forget mooning their over large buttocks from car windows. And sticking their large thick tongues out of their mouths.

I do get it. Just because I don't think that extremely nasty, bullying ar..h..es are fascinating and entertaining, doesn't mean that I think no one else does.

Sorry not understanding your post

Who done their job and what has SCD got to do with voting the risable and repugnant Stephen Bear got to do with it.

Oh dear...it was a third rate reality show and the people in this garbage were not fit to be called celebrities...I find it embarrassing that people are still banging on about it.

The show has finished the public voted him the winner...tough if no one likes it.

I suspect he was a troll also. Just someone for the others to feed off. Seen it go on before just more obviously.

Yeah, he was tiresome as well. I directed a couple of reasonable posts his way but the nonsense kept coming.

This series has been difficult on here for me because I liked Bear. Last series (civilian) was easier (less negative for me on here) since I liked all the finalists except I was iffy on Jackson (not a favorite of mine but nothing horrible) and had a love/dislike relationship with Hughie. It was nice because there were a lot of Andy and Jason supporters so I didn't feel like I had to constantly defend my reason for liking someone. The Perez year was also hard because he got a lot of hate but at least there was some support here (more than this year for Bear).

I do realize that I'm not going to change anyone's opinion on a HM but it's difficult to engage in discussion when someone asks for specific examples to back up an opinion then gets figuratively yelled at (sorry, poor grammar). Some else had posted something about "what did Bear actually do to Renee" and no one could give specific examples and the thread wasn't productive imo since no specific examples were given.

Anyway the series is over and I'm just here to see if there is any after party gossip then I'm gone till the next series. I'm happy Bear won and I hope that doesn't come across as gloating. Next series I probably won't be lucky enough to favor a winner (in other words, my favorite HM probably won't win)”

well said .

And Bear always tried to make up with Renee , he never held a grudge , even after she threatened to have him beat up .

That reminded me more of how he behaved when he saw the security guard.

He was bricking himself

You seriously think he was trying to make up with Renee and not just antagonize her further? And, even if he was genuine, just saying 'I'm weally, weally, sowee' every time he deliberately wound her up really doesn't make it all ok. Especially as he would only do the self same thing the next day and repeat the cycle.

Renee was an absolute mug to let him get under her skin the way she did and give he the reaction he so desperately craved but that doesn't vindicate him going out of way to get that reaction just for kicks

No. Bear wound her up. Deliberately and, it seems, pretty constantly.

He pissed off EVERYONE in the house, deliberately too. They hate him, apart from his little sheepies who are grateful he doesn't attack them.

That much is pretty clear.

I have respect for the bear supporters who admit they enjoyed bear because he was a wind up merchant so this kind of defense is nonsensical

I saw her do it many times , she'd actually have an argument on her own , her head would be boiling , and the bile and and anger was vile .

of course then she'd start crying and blame Bear .

So you don't think for a MOMENT, he hadn't antagonised her? Really?

They must be all NUTTERS in the house according to you, Bear was a sweetheart, and they just wound themselves up.

Weird.

And you've seen him out of the house as well. He's just a lovie isn't he. And all the housemates still bloody can't stand him, for no reason.

BiB

Yeah. I'm fine with the folks who say they find him entertaining for whatever reason. But I do get a little confused sometimes. Like Zarla said upthread that he/she found Bear "fascinating". I don't understand that point of view at all. He's entirely one-dimensional. What's fascinating about him?

Not that I think it's an invalid opinion or anything. I just don't understand it. Zarla, if you see this, what is it about him that you find, or found in the house, fascinating about him?

Feel the same.

Once they've done 'the others are borin'' and 'the ones upset and react are stupid or evil' there's only -

Bear is just acting and it's a great wind up - but we know now he's bloody LIKE THAT.

And_

He's 'fascinating'

And he's massively one note, delivers the same sort of shtick in an obvious OBVIOUS way, over and over and over and over.

I just DON'T get it.

Teletubbies syndrome? (again, again). Your guess is as good as mine

I don't think he was mean. If he saw someone was upset he backed off. He never made personal comments. He cuddled Renee for two hours when she was upset (that was something she mentioned in an interview). I think he was surprised and felt bad that Katie got so upset about her balloon being popped....he could not have foreseen her freaking out over a balloon (wonder how she would have reacted if it had been popped by the task people). Bear reminds me of one of my brothers back when we were kids (long ago). I also like how he sticks up for Chloe.

Absolute bollocks Vicky.

He was always personal, that's why he upset people.

Your loyalty is touching if a bit er.. odd.
