Tbh, I've found some past cbbs to be a snoozefest with hms sitting round drinking tea and barely saying anything interesting as the show blocks so much. Bear's coffee spilling antics seemed like a humorous kind of defiance to all that. I also loved it when James tipped coffee over Bear. Anything that subverts the Bb conventions amuses me - such as Bear finding it impossible to stay still during eviction shows and jumping up on the zebra. I liked the way he talked to the dog and the mirror and how fearless he was in the face of Renee's threats. His face to face noms were hilarious as he made no attempt to follow tradition and be polite and reluctant.
Alongside Bear's exuberance was also his enthusiasm and the energy with which he threw himself into tasks. He loved the show and made no secret of how much winning would mean to him, which was a welcome contrast to cynical types like James who were keen to take the money and run.
I also watched all the live feeds and saw a quieter and more sociable side to Bear when he played bowls and chatted to Ricky late at night after Lewis had gone.
