I really liked this guy. Seen his as a harmless housemate whom doesn't take sides.

Well I sure changed my mind about him this last couple of eps plus the live feed.

Does this guy have any loyalty at all? He literally stood there listening to American hms diss his fellow British hms and laughed like a stupid hyena.

I honestly don't know why this guy came second. Every one of the Americans should have beat him because he was an absolute two faced wimp of the highest order...

Definitely a people pleaser which doesnt make the best housemate, but I think 'creep' is a bit harsh!!!

No creep is exactly what he is. He went between Bear and Renee, trying to keep both happy, but his loyatly ended up with Renee.

I reckon he thought he'd hedge his bets with the Americans against Bear, but he lost................the absolute fool. And also an insincere one.

Glad he didn't win.

He told him to his face that he is a disgusting human being and that he didn't like him....so hardly two faced. He explained last night that he felt sorry for him towards the end.

The way the house was, I don't think any of them would leap to anyone's defence when the air was so thick with insults and derogatory remarks.

Those who valued their sanity just let it all flow over them. I think that is what Ricky did most of the time, Frankie, Aubrey and Renee did it some of the time.

What on earth would be the point of defending his compatriots? It would just add fuel to the fire, more arguments, more aggro, more negativity. He preserved his dignity and his peace of mind. Can't say as I blame him.

What's wrong with that?

He told Bear to his face that he was 'an ugly human being' didn't he?

Hardly the shock of the century that when it came down to it, he came down on Renee's side.

The only creep in that house once Lewis left, was knobber.

No thanks.

I don't need to.

Ricky isn't a creep no matter how many times you put it in a thread title and OP

Lacks integrity yes, he's not what I'd call a creep though, that word means something else to me.

They're like that EVERY ****ING YEAR THOUGH!!

Sheesh, this is not new.

From Siavash stabbing Marcus in the heart over Noirin to Saira and Katie fllitting from group to group every time the wind changed direction.

Why is Ricky being held to some unrealistic standard, based on being in an environment where nothing's really real?

I don't get it?

You do what you have to in there and I would trust Ricky more than just about anyone else this series.

They ALL bitch behind each others backs and they ALL backstab - every single series.

I had a bit of faith in old Ricky. His heart was in the right place and he actually had some morals. To see him cozy up with the enemy annoyed me at the time.

On the infamous LF he said to Renee and Frankie 'at least there's a chance one of the good ones could win' or WTTE.

I know he was trying to keep the peace but it frustrated me that he never really let his feelings be known.

I wanted him to stand up and be counted like Aubrey did. He would have won if he'd done that.

Do people have to come down on one side or the other and refuse to have anything to do with the 'opposition' because their friends don't like them?

When Bear was down and when he was ostracised, Ricky was there for him - I think they had their moments when Bear wasn't acting up - when he did play up Ricky had no time for him.

What the Hell is creepy or dishonourable about that? He liked Renee - he got on well with her - he respected her. He tolerated Bear and did his best to keep the peace.

TY Penny

That's EXACTLY how I see it

And Ricky summed it up beautifully himself when he said he cannot stand Bear but enjoys Stephen's company.

Okay I'm going to go straight to the BIB and tell you why Ricky didn't go medieval on Bear's ass......

Because he didn't want to be or be seen as 'the aggressive black guy'

Because he's learned how to control his temper and wasn't going to let a tosser like Bear unravel all the work he put into becoming a better, less angry person.

Because he KNEW that in there, how things were - he would NOT have been congratulated, Bear would have been seen as the victim. Him squaring up to Bear just isn't the same as Aubrey doing it.

Because unlike Bear, he's in control of himself.

Nah, sorry Cat - NOTHING anyone did in there comes even close to Bear's behaviour with Chloe whilst his girlfriend was sat at home watching him with her family.

Where's your thread about that?

Nah, sorry Penny, he was a fork tongue. A two faced non to be trusted ever.
And yet those who lived with him for three weeks voted unanimously for Ricky as the most sincere.

He wasn't fork tongued at all - he was level headed and mature enough to realise that getting involved in all the childish nonsense was a pointless exercise.

There really is no need (IMO) to be forced to take sides. He was always behind Renee - he was supportive of Bear and associated with him because he is an adult and adults should be able to be civil to each other without being classed as two faced.

I don't think Aubrey went medieval, she took a stand against the nonsense.

I think it depends on the approach, putting someone in their place doesn't need to be done aggressively. I know a little of his past and his reformation, maybe for him (as he said) he behaved as he wanted to and that's more important than winning.

Personally, I'd like to have seen him pick a side (whilst being amicable) and making a stand for his beliefs in right and wrong.

'but that's just me, just sayin'

It's inconsequential now though I guess and the horse has already bolted.

I think, for me, it was the way he went about things. Every conversation seemed a bit cloak and dagger when he was talking to Renee and Bear. He may well have quietly and reasonably said to Stephen, "look, I don't agree with the way you are, that's not cool and shouldn't treat people like that" but we'd never know because we only got to see the shouty bits.

She did go medeival Lee_Bo - she squared-up, got in his face and said 'I'm not ****ing scared of you'

Ricky didn't need to do anything to please anyone but himself and he stayed true to who he as become.

For me, that is integrity.

And Bear got his comeupppance anyway, courtesy of Aubrey's purchase and ownership of his butt

Selective righteousness?
100% this ^^^

AKA, hypocrisy - how else could you question one person's loyalty to someone they hardly know compared to someone else publicly cheating on someone they claimed to love?

Pfft
