I'm so shocked that the Sam Bailey of the series is the favourite to win at this point.

I really am getting fed up of a singer being the favourite on The X Factor just because they scream out notes.

No surprises she was very good and she is likeable

I thought Melissa gave the best performance by quite a long way.

I don't think we have seen any of the top three in the first two episodes. Only Melissa registered any interest with me.

Emily middlemas would be my early tip at 10/1.

The media especially the Scottish one can set up an Edinburgh v Glasgow rivalry with Caitlin

Caitlyn was very good but if you watched Kelly Clarkson's emotional performance of Piece By Piece on American Idol earlier this year, you would know that Caitlyn's version was identical right down to the tears and struggle to sing the last line.

Still, I like her voice so I'm intrigued to see what Caitlyn performs like in the next round.

I also like Emily Middlemas and really liked her version of Masterblaster.

My issue with Christian Burrows is that he's practically a clone of Ed Sheehan right down to the way he sings. I like to see something different or original and for me, Christian just doesn't have anything distinctive about him that makes him stand out.

James Hughes has a big voice and is a good singer but his facial expressions whilst singing is off-putting.

Caitlyn's odds shortened further throughout the day, she is now 9/2 favourite to win it. Doesn't look like the bad press about her is affecting her popularity!

Cant see anyone from the current betting finishing in the top three.

I really preferred Emily but it's very early days yet. You can't tell anything until the Lives start.

What bad press is that?

She was on the show last year and made it to the six chair challenge but this wasn't mentioned at all by the judges. Some are saying that her story about being bullied was all made up to give her more appeal.
